 Overview

The all new Salomon Rocker 2 100 is a perfect all mountain ski for skiers that are looking for a playful feel in off trail skiing, but can still drive an edge on the groomers. The biggest change to the ski is the addition of a Sandwich Sidewall Construction that gives the Rocker 2 100 more torsional strength than ever before, and better edge hold on the groomers. A Full Wood Core has the perfect mix of stability and playfulness that has a loose feeling when you are surfing through the trees, but still has enough power to bust up crud. Salomon's Hook Free Taper in the shovel prevents the tips from getting caught up in deep snow, and moguls, making the Rocker 2 100 more maneuverable than ever before. A Full Rocker profile will engage you in your turns quickly, and help you smear turns in the deep snow. If you are looking for a ski that can do it all, but loves to play off trail the new Salomon Rocker 2 100 is the perfect ski.

2015 Salomon Rocker2 100 Ski Review by Steve N.
Comments:
Hey I'm Steve, I just got off the Salomon Rocker 2 100. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. Solid all-mountain twin tip ski. Great on the groomers, you can pop in and out of the trees. Lot of fun, great on wide turns, really stable, held an edge really well, a little less stable on the shorter turns but overall awesome all-mountain ski. Again Salomon Rocker 2 100, 4 out of 5 stars.

2015 Salomon Rocker2 100 Ski Review by Thom
Comments:
Hi I'm Thom and I just got off the Salomon Rocker 2 100. This is going to be a 4 out of 5 star ski for me. This thing is really kinda cool. It's a very playful, very loose feeling ski. It's definitely geared towards your guy who wants a ski that they can manipulate the turn shape really easily. It's a not a driving ski, but for somebody who want a little bit of a freestyle feel, or just a looser feeling ski, it's a very good option for an all-mountain all purpose ski.

2015 Salomon Rocker2 100 Ski Review by Adam
Comments:
I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Salomon Rocker 2 100. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's very very snappy for short turns, it's reasonable stable at long turns. For a lighter weight guy it makes a great all-mountain do everything ski, especially if you're gonna get it into the soft snow and the powder. Pretty maneuverable in the bumps. Very lively, 4 out of 5.

2015 Salomon Rocker2 100 Ski Review by Hans
Comments:
I'm Hans, I just came off the Salomon Rocker 100. This is obviously more of a ski for out west conditions, but it holds pretty well in the groomers. At high speed it chatters a little bit. It's a cap construction tip and tail, sandwich construction underneath the foot so when you really step on it, it holds really well. I give this ski a 3.5 out of 5, definitely an out west ski.

2015 Salomon Rocker2 100 Ski Review by Kevin
Comments:
Hi I'm Kevin. I just got off the brand new Rocker 2 100 from Salomon. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. Really stellar all around performance here from the Salomon. Just very quick, very agile, just locked-in in a turn, playful, smooth, really versatile. I know I'm just dropping every, you know clichè out there, but this ski just fits the bill. For the guy that wants a go-to ski to conquer every type of terrain, whether it be freestyle, all-mountain, a little bit of park, or just ripping on the frontside no matter what the conditions, this is your ski.

2015 Salomon Rocker2 100 Ski Review by Mike B.
Comments:
Hey I'm Mike. I just got done skiing on the Rocker 2 100 from Salomon. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars. Pretty solid ski overall. I'd say this ski is going to be for your advanced intermediate all the way up through your expert level skier. It held an edge great, made turns very smooth, it could handle just about anything. you could throw at it. It's got a nice amount of tip and tail rocker, so if you're in the back country you know it's going to float really well, you'll be able to smear turns if that's what you're into. But over all a very good ski, 4 out of 5 for the Rocker 2 100.

2015 Salomon Rocker2 100 Ski Review by Ryan
Comments:
Hi I'm Ryan I just got off the Salomon Rocker 2 100. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 stars and I absolutely loved it. It was great laying over on edge doing a nice big carve. But on softer snow you could smear your turns, it was just great all around ski. Lots of energy, very controllable, I really recommend it.

Q: Can this ski be used in the chutes(double blacks), moguls, trees, and park skiing?
Asked : Oct 04, 2015
By : MountainShredder, Littleton, Colorado
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: This ski will charge in the chutes, moguls, and trees very easily, that is really what it is for! It is a little wide and stiff for rails and small jumps, but will send it off of larger jumps, and give you a solid platform while sticking landings.

Q: I'm 6ft and 190lb. I'm experienced on the groomers but complete beginner to off-piste. Do you recommend the Rocker2 100 in 178 or 186cm length?
Asked : Jan 19, 2015
By : Thomas, Stockholm, Sweden
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on your weight and experience in skiing I would recommend the 186cm. This ski is fully rockered that skis much shorter than it actually measures. the increased surface area will provide you will more float, stability and control.

Q: Is This Ski Good For Michigan? And Is This Ski Good For Going Throug Glades??
Asked : Dec 07, 2014
By : AllTimeSkier, Shelby Twp, Michigan
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: If you prefer a wider ski on firmer, groomed trails, this ski can be a great ski for skiing the Mitten. As far as glades go a 100mm fully rockerd ski is very maneuverable in tight spots and stable in variable conditions.
