just as described. a stiff boot with room in the foot. once you get it dialed in it performs great. I had a little trouble with heel slip in the bumbs, I put a pair of medium weight socks on and used the micro adjustments and the problem went away. My feet never got cold or feel asleep and I skied in them for five hours at a time. stiff like a performance boot and comfortable like a entry level. I got a pair of 28's and normally wear a 10.5 or 11 shoe. First time ordering off the internet and could not have been happier.
