The Salomon Quest Pro 90 best suites skiers that have a medium to narrow forefoot and medium shaft of the leg that are of intermediate to advanced ability. The 24mm Oversized Pivot is designed to deliver power and control right to modern wider skis as you turn, carve and hike your way through the mountains. The Quest Pro 90 utilizes Salomon's Ride and Hike Technology that unhinges the upper cuff from the lower shell to make hiking easier as you make your way up to your sidecountry stash. An Extended Rubber Sole improves your grip on snow and ice. The Quest Pro 90 has the My Custom Fit 3D Sport Liner that has 30% of the material that is thermoformable by heat to accelerate the breaking in process. A 35mm Velcro power strap acts as a fourth buckle to give you more leverage to flex your boots for your turns. If you are looking for a boot that has a medium to narrow fit in the forefoot, and a medium fit in the shaft of the leg, the Salomon Quest Pro 90 will be a great boot for you.

Q: So there have 100(-103mm) last. The Salomon guy says it fits 80% of the public, so why do you give it a M-S fore foot rating? Also, can you thermomold the inserts yourself, with a heat gun (can't imagine a ski shop wanting to do it if bought thru you guys?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The 100mm last is the most common, best-selling and most popular width in all ski boots. A 100mm last best fits medium to narrow fore foot width. Without your exact length and width measurements it is difficult to tell if this would be the boot for you. A quality ski shop should gladly service any boot that walks through their door. Heating a liner would be a minimal charge. Just a tip a 12 pack of beer makes a good tip for the bootfitter.
