The Salomon Quest Access 80 W is a perfect boot for the intermediate skier who has a medium to wide forefoot, and medium to wide leg shape. Ladies who have never been able to find a boot that can fit their calves correctly love the Ratchet Buckle that can be expanded out to be accommodating for the largest leg shapes. Salomon's My Custom Fit Sport Liner has Woolmetal Insulation that has a blend of real wool and metallic polyester that has fantastic insulating properties to give you additional warmth for cold days on the slopes. Since ladies typically have a narrower heel and a shorter, fuller leg shape the Quest Access 80 W has additional heel support, and a Women's Specific Low Cuff to keep you comfortable without any sacrifice to performance. Ride & Hike Technology makes it very easy for you to walk to the chair in the morning, shuffle your kids gear around, and enjoy the après party with a simple flip of a switch to make walking easier for you. To increase the amount of power that transfers to your edges the Quest Access 80 has a 24mm Oversized Pivot that connects the upper cuff to the lower shell. If you need a boot that is designed for medium to wide leg and foot shapes, that has the flex to support intermediate skiers, the Salomon Quest Access 80 W will make a great fit for you.

Finally I have a pair of boots that fit! I have wide feet and very wide calves and with short legs the newer ski boots have not worked at all and caused much pain. These Salomon boots after adjusting a bit are the best I have found.

Q: how long does it take to break the boots in? It feels a bit tight when I first tried it on

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The boot should feel snug at first, with your toes touching the front of the boot. After each use a ski boot will break in more and more. It is important that they feel snug at first so when they break in they do not become too big. After about 3 days of skiing they should be broken in nicely.
