The new Salomon QST Myriad 85 is a great ski for the beginner to strong intermediate that is looking for an easy to ride ski that will help them build confidence on any type of terrain that they will feel comfortable going down. An 85mm waist is wide enough to roll over crud and variable snow conditions on the front side of the mountain. Salomon's All-Terrain Rocker 2.0 has a rockered tip that will help you initiate turns easier, camber underfoot that keeps you stable in the middle of your turn, and rocker in the tail that releases the ski from turns easier. A Hook Free Taper will help prevent your tips and tails from getting caught up in the snow. Salomon's Power Transfer Platform has a stronger construction under the binding mounting area that gives you more energy underfoot, while the rest of the ski remains softer and more forgiving. A Semi-Sandwich Construction allows you to be more maneuverable by having a Monocoque Cap construction in the tips and tails, while a sidewall underfoot delivers stronger edge hold on firmer conditions. If you are a beginner to strong intermediate looking for a ski that will help make skiing in challenging conditions the Salomon QST Myriad 85 is a great choice for you.
Hi I'm Jessica and I just got off the Salomon QST Myriad Ski. I rate this ski a 4 out of 5 star. It's going to be good for your beginner to advanced intermediate rider. It initiates the turns easily, goes in and out of them quickly. It holds a really nice edge, when I got it up to speed I did get a little bit of chatter underfoot but again 4 out of 5 star ski.
Hi I'm Jess and I just got off the Salomon QST Myriad 85. I would give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars. It's meant for a beginner to intermediate skier, and whats great about it, is that it's got a really nice edge hold. It might feel like a heavy ski when you pick it up, but it feels very light underfoot and it's easy to turn and get around, and it holds those turns very nicely so you feel very stable when you're getting through any of those short, quick turns or long, arching turns. Whatever your preference is this ski will be able to do it for you. Again, I give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars.
Hi I'm Brigitte and I just got off the Salomon Myriad 85. I give this ski a 3 out of 5 stars. I think it's good for a beginner-intermediate. I did feel though, it was a little hard to turn and kind of chattery but it was on hard pack so i'd like to see it on some soft snow. I give it 3 out of 5.
Hi I'm Julie, I just got off the Salomon Myriad 85. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was an excellent ski for somebody thats looking to explore a little bit more of the mountain. At 85 underfoot it is versatile enough to go ski the front side, on the groomers but the way that this ski is designed, it really allows you that ability to be able to find some powder. You know, not super deep snow but it's going to float up and over anything variable, and even up to boot deep snow. I found this ski to be extremely lively, so for somebody that is trying to progress their skiing, and they are going to find a ski that they want to get a little bit more out of as they become a better skier, this is a really good choice, it's a really fun ski. 5 out of 5 stars.
