 Overview

The Salomon QST Lumen 99 is a ripping ski for ripping ladies who want a lightweight and stable ski that will be perfect any day on the mountain. The 99mm waist will float in all that is soft and deep, and be very nimble when you want to slice some carves on the groomers. A Koroyd Tip lowers the swingweight for easy maneuvering and eliminating tip wobble when you are really cooking down the mountain. Salomon's new CFX Superfiber Construction and Spaceframe Woodcore keeps the ski unbelievably stable, while reducing the total weight. A Hook Free Taper prevents the tips and tails from getting hooked up in the fresh snow for an excellent soft snow skiing ability. The All-Terrain Rocker profile simply makes the Lumen 99 a pleasure to ski on any mountain, any day of the week!

Hi I'm Jess and I just got off the Salomon QST Lumen 99. I would give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars. It's an advanced level ski, and what's nice about it is even though it's got the wider underfoot of a 99, its definitely still has a great edge hold and it will start the turn, initiate the turn up here in the top of the ski, so it grabs you into it and it will pull you around and just shoot you right back out of that turn; and it's very, very stable underfoot. So again I would give this ski 4 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Julie, I just got off the Salomon Lumen 99. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was a really nice ski for somebody looking to ski mostly powdered conditions. It does have full sidewall construction to it so, it does hold an edge really well when you've got to come back front side. It does make really nice long, sweeping turns on the front side. If you try to push it into a little bit shorter radius turn, it becomes a little more sluggish; but if you just want to make long ripping turns down the groomers, or take it in the back bowls and find some powder this is a great choice.
