The Salomon Q-98 is a perfect ski for the strong intermediate to expert skiers looking for a lightweight, snappy ski that rules the mountain, both on the groomers, and in the ungroomed terrain. The 98mm waist feels really edgy and quick when you need to carve a turn, but excels in the softer, or fresher snow. The Q-98 boasts a Hook Free Taper and Honeycomb Tip that increase the flotation and maneuverability the ski has anywhere on the mountain. Rocker in the tip provides you with awesome floatation, and easier turn initiation, while camber underfoot gives you grip and rebound on the snow. Rocker in the tail increases your steering ability when things get deep, and also releases you from a turn effortlessly. Salomon's Semi-Sandwich Construction utilizes a Monocoque Cap in the tip and tail, with an ABS Sidewall underfoot for maneuverability and edge hold. If you are looking for a ski that rips in the pow, and is highly maneuverable anywhere you can take it, the Salomon Q-98 is the ski for you.

Q: Does this ski have twin tips?
Asked : Mar 22, 2016

A:This is not a twin tip ski. The tail is slightly flared for skiing slow backwards, and easy exit out of your turns, but it is not recommended for skiing switch fast or park tricks.
