The Salomon Origins Lagoon is a perfect ski for the true beginner or tweener that is ready for her first adult system ski. The Salomon Lightrak L9 binding system provides an even deep flex, and never needs to be re-drilled if you need to change boots. The Composite Monocoque Cap Construction is lightweight and forgiving with out being too flimsy. The Pulse Pad Dampening System has elastomers along the edge of the ski for smoother ski to snow contact. Salomon's 3D Stealth Tip is a lower shaped shovel that has a flat contact angle to the snow, allowing the ski to roll over terrain variations, and keep the front of the ski to be smooth and chatter free. The Pulse Pad Dampening System is an elastomer layer over the entire edge of the ski for softer ski to snow contact. A 72mm waist is quick edge to edge and will have you carving turns in no time. If you are a true beginner or are looking for a lightweight and forgiving ski for your tween or young teen the Salomon Origins Lagoon is for you..

2013 Salomon Origins Lagoon Ski Review
Comments:
Hey I'm Julie. I just got of the Salomon Origins Lagoon. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was really nice for a beginner to intermediate level women. It's really light weight and very predictable ski. If you maybe not all of the time in the exact correct body positioning, it still skis the same. It's really predictable underfoot so you can make the same solid turn every single time at slow to moderate speeds.

2013 Salomon Origins Lagoon Ski Review
Comments:
Hi this is April, I just got off the Salomon Origins Lagoon. This is another one of those ski I found to be a really great deal. I'm going to give it a 4 out of 5. This is that tweener ski that maybe your daughter in out grown her children's equipment and she needs to get into her first adult package and you want to get your moneys worth out of it so you don't want something that she's going to out grow right away. This ski is soft and easy to turn. It just flows in to a new turn. It's really fun, easy for, if she wants to get into maybe a little NASTAR racing maybe your high school racing. This ski will serve her well because it really allows her to roll into a new turn. The more she tips this ski up on edge the more this ski has to give back to her. Kind of surprised. I expected it to be a twisty little squirrly ski and it wasn't. Held really well on the groomers did fairly well in the heavier pushy snow we have here and just a lot fun for the money. It's a pretty good deal so if you've got that young lady that's just starting into more adult equipment this is the place I'd go to look for it, the Salomon Lagoon.
