Wide - foot width of 104-106mm; beginner to expert skier

Soft - ideal for beginners or lightweight intermediates

The Mission 4 is Salomon's entry level boot. Simple, comfortable and easy going is the name of the game with the Mission 4. With a 55 flex the Mission 4 is soft enough to be driven and controlled by the most inexperienced of skiers. Salomon uses the XFITFusion Comfort liner in the Mission 4, which is based around comfort and warmth to help the entry level skier stay out on the hill all day. Micro adjustable buckles at the lower cuff and over the instep allow for some customization for foot shape and tool free catches on the upper cuff let the Mission 4 adapt for different leg shapes. Price conscious skiers looking for a comfortable introduction to skiing will find the Mission 4 to be a great value.

Good
Comments:
I'm surpriced upper comments. I use Salomon Mission X4 for 3 seasons, and I find them a very comfortable, easy going boots. Nothing broken, nothing crashed. Very nice and comfortable boots (width foot - 106mm) - it's important for all-day skiing. But still good keeping calf and instep (adjustment on 3 cuffs and micro adjustments on all). I'm not an expert or pro skier, but advanced and good riding fun of skiing, so I can really recomend these comfortable boot for all not-pro skier. [sorry for mistakes - I'm not a native]

Cheap for a reason
Comments:
You get what you pay for, these are cheap and of cheap construction. The buckels lasted about 14 skiing days before snapping due to the thin metal used. Spend a bit more if you want something thats going to last

Don't buy these boots
Comments:
The second time up with these boots the plastic buckles broke. Pay a little more and get the metal buckles.
