The Salomon Gemma is a lightweight and snappy ski for the advanced to expert skier that will spend the majority of their time on the frontside of the mountain, but will venture off the groomers once in a while when the conditions are prime. Salomon's Comfortech uses vibration dampening fibers that are placed underneath the toe and heel piece of the bindings that will smooth out the ride for you in challenging conditions. Carve Rocker uses a small amount of rocker in the tip for fast turn initiation, with camber underfoot that springs you into your next turn and grips the snow with ease. The Control Frame Technology has a unique 3D shape that extends the grip of the Gemma at the contact points that allows you to drive edges into the snow just like a carving ski, but with a much more versatile profile. Salomon's Light Density Woodcore and a layer of Basalt are a perfect combination of power and finesse that will keep you coming back for more, run after run!

Hi I'm Brigitte, I just got off the Gemma Salomon ski. I gotta give this ski a 5 out of 5. I gotta tell ya, I really felt good on this ski. It's nice and fast, it turns really good, and I felt light on my feet. It actually did the turns for me and made me feel confident. As an intermediate skier, wanting to get to that advanced level, I think this ski can do that for you. I give it a 5 out of 5.

Hi I'm Jessica and I just got off the Salomon Gemma Ski. I absolutely love this ski I give it a 5 out of 5 star rating. I myself am more of a mellow intermediate skier, but this is definitely the ski that is going to take you to that next level. Since it has a rocker in the tip and the tail, don't be afraid to go to a higher size in this. It's very stable at faster speeds, it also can go at slower speeds so if you're that mellow intermediate looking to advance, this is going to be the ski for you. It goes in and out easily, it holds a really nice edge. You can take it steeper and faster with this ski. Again 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Jess and I just got off the Salomon Gemma. I would give this ski a 3 out of 5 stars. It's an intermediate to advanced level ski. It does have a very good edge hold and it was pretty stable underneath, but it gets a little chattery at some of the higher speeds. It's not quite as stable as some of the other skis in the Salomon line, but it was really quick to turn and very easy to maneuver around. So again I give this ski a 3 out of 5 stars.
