The Salomon Enduro XT 850 is the ski for advanced or expert skier who demands performance and control out of their skis. The construction includes a Full Wood Core that is reinforced with two layers of titanium, and a layer of bamboo. The wood is stable and responsive, the titanium is stiff and damp, and the layer of bamboo gives the Enduro XT 850 a quick and lively feel. The Extended Transfer Plate is an aluminum plate embedded in rubber for direct feedback from the terrain, and better power transmission. The All Terrain Rocker is rocker in the tip, with camber underfoot. Tip rocker will help you float in the powder, deflect the negative vibrations from crud, moguls, and help the ski initiate quicker turns on the groomers. Vertical Side walls give the Enduro XT 850 unmatched edge grip on firm slopes. The 84mm waist is floaty in the powder, and quick edge to edge on medium radius turns. Salomon's Protrak Z 12 binding system gives the ski a nice even, deep flex that can handle all situations. If you are looking for a ski that has all of the bells and whistles, to enhance your ski day: look no further than the Salomon Enduro XT 850, it can handle all conditions and will not disappoint even the strongest of skiers.
I skied on the Enduro 850 for a week and they are some of the best skis I have ever been on. The week started with a small (4") snow day and they were great, floated like there was 10" with the 85 under foot. Also killed it in the afternoon when it was bumped up, solid through the crud. The week ended with warm temps and spring conditions where the 850 really excelled, lively under foot even in sloppycond.. I rented them from Exit 28 Rentals in Campton NH, good deals, and knowledgable staff...I wanted a pair of twin-tip park skis and they suggested the 850. I bought my own set this fall.
Hi, this is Trey, I just got done riding Salomon's Enduro 850 XT. I'm gonna give this ski 4/5 stars. I think it's excellent at edge hold, and railing kinda medium, to longer radius turns. Not a ton of energy in it, but a lot of solidity underfoot. A little sluggish for the way I like to ski, but I still enjoyed being on this on the groomers.
Hi I'm Brandon. I'm here with the XT 800 from Salomon. I give this ski a 4 out of 5. It was a really solid ski. It has super edge hold when you're making short turns and even better edge hold when you're making wide turn on groom. You' going to be able to get into a little bit of crud but it's not going to be a powder skit or anything. But definitely a super ski and I give it 4 out of 5.
This is Josh here, I just got off the Salomon Enduro XT 850. I give this ski 4/5 stars. It's got a rocker tip, which makes it pretty easy to turn, it's a pretty heavy duty ski. It's definitely aimed for somebody who's an advanced skier.
