If you are one of the ladies that can rip down any groomer, the Rossignol Unique 8 will be a great ski for you. The Unique 8 is very light, but remarkably stable at speed. The Air Core has a Paulownia Wood that has an air channel that runs through the majority of the ski that reduces the total weight of the ski by 20%. The Air Core is laminated with Linen, Titanal, and Carbon to give you power and stability. Rossignol's Power Turn Rocker has the front 10% of the ski rockered for quick turn initiation, and the remaining 90% of the ski has traditional camber for edge grip and rebound for making tight carves down a steep groomer. The Unique 8 has an Oversized Sidecut that allows you to roll the ski on edge very quickly, and provides extra edge hold. If you love making clean carves on the groomers, and want a light ski that will be stable, no matter how fast you push it the Rossignol Unique 8 will be the best ski for you!

Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Rossignol Unique 8. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. It's an excellent frontside carving ski for an advanced to expert level lady. This thing absolutely rips. If you're a former racer that's come off you know a race specific ski, this makes an excellent slalom style turn. It does well with longer radius turns but, god, the slalom turns and the short radius turns on this thing is absolutely incredible. Again, 5 out of 5 star rating. It's a heckuva lot of fun.
Hi, I'm Linda. I just finished skiing the Rossignol Unique 8. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars. It is a fabulous frontside ski with lots of spunk. Just enough rebound, it's really controllable, very forgiving. Turns easy. Runs fast. Does everything and was really stable underfoot. Again, 5 out of 5.
Hi, I'm Teresa and I just tried out the Rossignol Unique 8. This ski is a great carving ski. It's got a little bit of wood and steel over the Unique 6. This would be kind of your more advanced carving type person. At a 156 it's a little bit too short so a lot of small radius turns but great ski for blue runs for sure. I give it about a 4 out of 5.
