The Temptation 88 from Rossignol is a great ski for strong intermediate to expert skiers that want something easy to turn and stable at speed. Rossignol's Air Tip Construction keeps the tips of the ski above the snow, and gives you easy turn initiation by keeping the swingweight of the ski down while improving the maneuverability. The Temptation 88 has Auto Turn Rocker that has a rockered tip, camber underfoot, and a small amount of rocker in the tail. Auto Turn Rocker provides easy turn entry, stability in the middle of the turn, and effortless exiting of the turn. The Extended Sidecut improves the mobility by giving you more effective edge at faster speeds and less effective edge at slower speeds making the Temptation 88 extremely easy to carve and control at any speed. The Poplar Wood Core has a Basalt layer on top of it to provide stability at speed and power without adding any extra weight to the ski. If you are a strong intermediate to expert skier that wants the easiest ski to carve with, the Rossignol Temptation 88 is the one for you.

2016 Rossignol Temptation 88 Ski Review by Julie
Comments:
Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Rossignol Temptation 88. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 star rating. I found that for an expert level skier, there's not quite enough stiffness in the forebody of the ski for me. Personally, the Air Tip does make it nice and lightweight and easy to roll that ski over on edge but I think the older version that had the solid tip construction to it powered through variable snow a little bit better so 4 out of 5 stars.

2016 Rossignol Temptation 88 Ski Review by Annie
Comments:
Hi, I'm Annie and I just got off the Rossignol Temptation 88. It is an advanced-expert ski. I rode it a little tall and so it was a little tough to stay out in front. This definitely requires an advanced skier. I give it a 3 out of 5. It's very rigid. It was tough on the short turns. Long turns were a lot better but you have to stay out on top in front of this ski in order to really get it to bend and carve. A little bit of chatter if you forget where you are. Again, I give this a 3 out of 5.

2016 Rossignol Temptation 88 Ski Review by Linda
Comments:
Hi, I'm Linda. I just finished skiing the Rossignol Temptation 88. I give this ski a 3 out of 5. They rate it as an advanced ski and the reason I gave it a 3 is because I think it's a great all-mountain, more of an intermediate ski than an advanced ski, maybe a beginner-advanced. If you like long turns and cruising the mountain on the frontside, it's a nice ski but it doesn't have much snap. It's very forgiving, that is the nice part about it. It does long turns really well but it doesn't have as much punch as a lot of their other skis so 3 out of 5 for the Temptation 88.
