The Rossignol makes and excellent ski for the intermediate to advanced skier that is looking for a lightweight ski that will be easy to carve turns with. The Air Tip Construction uses a honeycomb structure that lightens up the tip of the ski, to pull heavier material towards the middle of the ski to make it easier to roll on edge, and maneuver in tight spots. An 84mm waist feels very nimble underfoot, and has the width to motor through crud when it starts to build on the groomers. Rossignol's Auto Turn Rocker allows you to initiate turns and exit turns very easily, while camber underfoot adds grip and rebound. The Extended Sidecut that Rossignol has developed provides more effective edge when you are skiing fast, and less effective edge when you are skiing slowly to provide the most amount of control at any speed. A Paulownia/Carbon core has a lightweight feeling, but has all of the energy and power you will ever need.

Q: I am an intermediate skier, hoping to advance. I mainly ski blues but have done a few blacks this season. We ski mainly in Big Sky, Montana. I am 5'2'' and 130 lbs. Would this be a good ski for me? My ideal size is a 150 cm but could I manage with a 146 cm? Any other ski suggestions?
