The Rossignol Super 7 is a super ski for super star skiers. Rossignol's Powder Turn Rocker has a progressive tip that eliminates the amount of tip flap that some wide, rockered skis have, and is unsinkable in the fluffy stuff. The tapered tail is stiffer than before to give you more power behind your turns, and easier breaking power, for when you need to speed check before that massive cliff drop. The Air Tip has a patented air-honeycomb design that has a rigid feel, but also makes the Super 7 more maneuverable than before. A new Light Core made from Paulownia Wood is reduces the skis weight by 20%, but will not sacrifice any stiffness. Sandwich Laminate Construction, beefs up the torsional stiffness of the Super 7, and makes in unshakeable at any speed. If you are looking for a playful ski with big mountain footprint that is powerful, yet not too demanding, the Rossignol Super 7 is the ski for you.

Hi, I'm Kevin, I just got off the brand new Rossignol Super 7. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. Biggest fault for me is I'm probably, honestly not quite big enough to ski this especially in the 188. If it had been the next size down, I mig...Read More

Hey, it's Hunter here. Just got off the Rossi Super 7 and this is a 3 out of 5 star ski for me. This is one of those skis where, in it's element, I think it's one of the best-in-class - chunked up snow, can't feel the base underneath, condi...Read More

Q: I'm a 6'4" 180lb-200lb high intermediate/advanced skiier with a few decades of ski experience. Can you recommend an appropriate ski size for this model? What's the shortest I could do? I'd like something that turns better than the skis I have now, which are el-cheapo Dynastar Max 6's, 186cm, made sometime around the time when dinosaurs walked the earth. Would like a responsive ski that will do OK in the bumps. Just bought some Nordica Fire Arrow F3 Ski Boots. I generally ski the Tahoe resorts. If there's a better ski for my purposes than this one, please feel free to recommend it.

A:You will really thank me for getting you into a ski made this millennium! If you spend most of your time off trail and in the powder (which just showed up this week in Tahoe) the Super 7 in a 188cm. I know that seems like the same length as your Jurassic Max 6's, but skis have come a very long way since then. With the amount of rocker in these, they ski much shorter than they measures, and is much easier to control. If you are spending more time on the groomers the Sin 7 takes all of this technology and makes it more groomer friendly. A ski does not know how tall you are, but how much you weigh. Having a ski too short for you will result is loss of control instead of making it easier to control.

Q: Looking for some size advice...I am 37 years old 5'5" 165 lbs advanced skier I currently ski the atomic crimson @ 164 cm as my all mountain ski. I am looking to add the super 7 as my pow ski and am torn between the 172 and 180. I don't want this ski to ski shorter than my crimson but also don't want them to be too big. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Q: I am 6'1" tall, 190 pounds, expert skier. What length do you recommend?
Asked : Aug 31, 2013
By : Mike, Alta
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:Based on your height, weight and skill, I would recommend a fat ski such as the Rossignol Super 7 in the 178cm to 183cm length range. There is a 180cm length of the Super 7 that would be ideal for you.

Q: I have the 2012 s7 178. Love the size. Going heli this year and thinking of getting super s7 . What size. 180 lb getting old so would 180 be too much ?
Asked : Aug 28, 2013
By : Patrick, Pittsburgh
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:For a super powder ski such as the Rossignol Super 7, at your weight and skill level, the 180cm length would actually be right up your alley. The extra length will provide some additional stability even in the steeper conditions.
