The Rossignol Smash 7 is a great ski for the intermediate skier who is looking for something wider to start to venture off of the trail, and into the powder or variable terrain. At 92 mm underfoot the Smash 7 has the width for floating in all but the deepest powder. The Powder Turn Rocker profile has 50% camber underfoot, and 50% high rocker in the tip and tail. Camber underfoot gives you power, and edge grip on the hard pack, while the rocker in the tip will keep the ski floating on top of the snow, deflecting negative vibrations that are caused by crud, and help the ski engage quicker on the groomers. Rocker in the tail helps you steer better in powder, and helps you smear turns when the snow is deep. The Smash 7 has the RossiTop Cap construction, and a wood/fiberglass core that makes is nice and forgiving for the mellower skier. A Spoon Tip makes the ski less grabby in the softer snow, so you will be charging the deep stuff. A great ski for someone who is starting to get after the ungroomed terrain, but not a bad ski to take on the groomers, the Rossignol Smash 7 will be a great step in the right direction for the lighter or mellower rider looking to get of piste.

2013 Rossignol Smash 7 Ski Review
Comments:
Hi I'm Charlie I just got off the Rossignol Smash 7. I give this skis 5 out of 5 stars. For a teenage kid or somebody in the lighter weight range thats an up and coming park guy. Somebody that wants a ski that playful to play around all day with. It's a really good ski. Even with a guy my size it holds its edge really well. So for your younger kid and the lighter weight people this will be a really good ski.

Hey guys this is Luke I have a Rossignol Smash 7. I give this ski 35 stars. Definitely a ski for your lighter weight individuals, or people that are more beginner to intermediate level skiers. Still a fun ski you can really take this thing anywhere. It's got enough width underfoot to make you feel stable no matter where you ski nice, and forgiving doesn't require a lot to get on edge, just a good ski for the money.

2013 Rossignol Smash 7 Ski Review
Comments:
Hi Thom here with the Rossignol Smash 7. I'm going to give this 4.5 out of 5 stars. For this type of ski at this kind of price, it really really surprised me. First of all it's a little bit shorter than I'd ever like to ski but it have fantastic stability it was super easy to get onto edge. As it is an intermediate to intermediate advanced type ski it did lack a little bit on the stability at speed but it engages super easy and for that lighter weight guy or that teenager that's getting out of junior equipment looking for their first true all mountain ski, this is a great ski.

2013 Rossignol Smash 7 Ski Review
Comments:
Sean here I just got done skiing the Rossignol Smash 7 ski. I give this ski 4.5 out of 5 starts. It's a towards that intermediate to advanced intermediate skier that wants a ski that they can take all over the mountain, but play in small power run, off groomed run, not a full out power ski, not a full out park ski, and if you're not really a hardcore in either one of those this would be a good fit for you. Some of the things I liked about it, it was really fun playful ski. It was very nimble, had a lot of stability, lot of edge control. At faster speeds it didn't handle too bad, there wasn't a whole lot of chatter very forgiving on the turn, initiated into turns nice and easy. Yeah overall this is a really fun ski I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

2013 Rossignol Smash 7 Ski Review
Comments:
Hi I'm Steve. I just got of the Rossi Smash 7. This is kind of a tweener ski, meaning it's between an adult and a junior ski. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 star. If i was 20 years younger I probably would have given it 5 out of 5 stars. I was really surprised. This ski I skied in a 160 length, which is 15-20 cm shorter than the skis I've been skiing all day and it carved unbelievably well, it held it's edge well. It could make wide turns, short turns. It's a great all mountain ski also something you could take into the park. A great ski for those intermediate to advanced intermediate kids thats want to take and get a lot better on it, this would be a great ski for you.

2013 Rossignol Smash 7 Ski Review
Comments:
It's Hunter here, just got of the Rossi Smash 7 and I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. For your aspiring lighter weight younger all mountain skier, even park skier, it's a heck of a ski. Just starts a turn with no effort and for how light weight this ski is it really holds someone who is of a bigger size like me through the turn really well. So I can only imagine how grippy it'll be for a skier in its intended weight range. Like I said snappy, playful, light and value priced. It's a great option for your younger skiers.

2013 Rossignol Smash 7 Ski Review
Comments:
Hey I'm Brad. I just got off the the Rossi Smash 7. I was actually really impressed with this ski. I'm going to give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars, I didn't expect much out of it. I didn't think anything was going to impress me about it and I got on it and it was really stable underfoot. It held up surprisingly well at high speed and held really really well underfoot. Definitely for your intermediate skier. If you like to ski really fast and it definitely chatters a little bit. But if you're a guy whos looking for a twin that can kind of take you up to the next level. I was really impressed with how stable this ski was and well it held a turn.
