The Rossignol Famous 2 is a perfect ski for any beginner to solid intermediate skier that will be spending all of their time on the groomers. Rossignol's Prop Tip Construction allows the tip of the ski to flex and absorb vibrations to changing terrain to give you more control and consistent edge contact. The Light Core of the Famous 2 is made from Paulownia Wood to be light on your feet, but supportive and stable. The Famous 2 boasts Power Turn Rocker that has a slight amount of tip rocker for fast and easy turn initiation with camber underfoot that will give you stability when you are locked into your turn and edge grip on firmer conditions. The Extended Sidecut will give you more control at any speed you ski by providing you with more effective edge at faster speeds, with the more angle you apply to the snow, and less effective edge at slower speeds with the less angle you apply to the ski. If you spend all of your time on the groomers, and want a lightweight and easy ski for you to control, the Rossignol Famous 2 will make a perfect ski for you.

Hi I'm Jess and I just got off the Rossignol Famous 2. I would give this ski a 4 out of 5 star rating. It's a true beginner ski so what's great about that is it's super light underfoot, it's easy to turn, easy to maneuver around. It will really do kind of whatever you're trying to make it do so that beginner skier can get comfortable on the hill. And it does hold an edge pretty well for a beginner ski. It gets a little squirrely at higher speeds but it's really made to be your first few times out on the hill and trying to advance into an intermediate skier ski.
Hi I'm Jessica and I just got off the Rossignol Famous 2 ski and I give this ski a 4 out of 5 star rating. This is a great ski for that true beginner who's looking to advance into a mellow intermediate skier. With the tip rocker it gets you in and out of turns easily. It did get chattery for me at higher speeds so that's why I recommend it for a true beginner or a very mellow intermediate. Again, 4 out of 5 stars fro the Rossi Famous 2.
Hi I'm Julie. I just got off the Rossignol Famous 2. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was an excellent frontside ski for a beginner to really up to an advanced level skier. It's got a lot of sidewall to this ski so it holds an edge really well if you're going to be skiing in icy or groomed conditions; this is a really excellent choice. I thought it excelled at short radius turns and when you actually get it up to speed it still holds an edge really nicely. I really pushed the pace on it, made some quick slalom style turns and held just great.
Hi I'm Marcia, I just got off riding this ski Rossignol Famous 2. I give this ski 4 stars out of 5. I thought it was a really nice ski. The stability was really good on the conditions that we're having which are a little bit of ice in particular areas. It's a great ski for an intermediate skier. It's a good ski for an intermediate skier who wants to take their skills to the next level. I felt that it held the edges secure on the short turns and it flowed nicely on the long turns. Again, I'll give this ski 4 stars out of 5.
