The new Experience 84 HD is an excellent ski for strong intermediates to experts that want smooth skiing and responsiveness on the groomers. Rossignol's Auto Turn Rocker initiates turns ultra-fast, camber delivers a high amount of edge hold and rebound, while rocker in the tail allows the ski to exit a turn effortlessly. The new Carbon Alloy Matrix Construction has a woven structure of carbon fiber and basalt to ramp up the stability, edge hold, and power to take a fantastic ski, and make it even better. The Konect Binding System helps the ski flex naturally, bringing more edge contact to the snow. Rossignol's Air Tip Construction uses a honeycomb structure in the tip that reduces the weight of the ski in the tip for a highly maneuverable feeling for slicing nice carves on the groomers at any speed.

Q: I'm a 60 year old advanced inter/expert skier. Enjoy steep groomed. A little over weight at 200lb and 6 ft tall. would this 84 be a good size/fit or should I be looking at something else?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The E84 would be a solid ski for you, it feels solid at speed and nimble. You could do the 186cm if you are super aggressive or if you like a lot of vertical. If you do not ski very aggressive and typically ride smaller resorts the 178cm will be best for you.

Q: I'm 5.6", 130 lbs, intermediate skier. Which size should I get? The 154cm or the 162cm? Would I notice a big difference between the two?
Asked : Feb 05, 2017
By : KC, Boston, MA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on your weight and ability the 154cm will be the optimal size for you. Having the correct size ski for your weight, ability and aggressiveness will give you the perfect amount of control, stability and performance.

Q: I'm 5'5", weight 160. Is the 154cm or the 162cm better? I demoed the older version of the ski today (the 2016 version - yellow) in 154cm but didn't try the 162cm. Any recommendation?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on your weight the 154cm will be the better size for you if you are not a very aggressive skier, if you are on the more aggressive side the 162cm will be the optimal size for you. The new HD version has a better edge hold and an extra snap as you exit a turn.

A: Both are fantastic skis for skiing fast and making nice carves on the groomers. You really could not go wrong with either ski.
