The Rossignol Experience 77 Basalt is a great ski for the athletic beginner all the way up to the solid intermediate skier that is looking for a lightweight ski that will be easy to control on the groomers. A Basalt and Poplar core gives the Experience 77 a very lightweight feeling on your feet, but will be stable and responsive with the more courage and speed you pick up. Rossignol's Auto Turn Rocker uses rocker in the tip for smooth and easy turn initiation, camber underfoot for edge grip, and rocker in the tail for easy turn exit. The Air Tip Construction give the ski a lower swing weight to provide you with a higher sense of mobility as you zip down the groomers. Rossignol's Extended Sidecut allows you the most control possible at any speed you ski, by giving you more edge contact with the more angle you put on your skis at fast speeds, and less edge contact with the less angle you put on your edges at slow speeds. If you are ready to invest in your own set of skis, and stop waiting in rental lines, and want a ski that will help you improve, the Rossignol Experience 77 is a great selection.

Hi this is Jeff, I just got off the Rossignol Experience 77. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 stars for somebody that's coming out of rental gear and going into their first setup, this is an integrated ski and binding. For the price, it's an absolute wonderful ski to start on and it will carry you all the way into recreational, intermediate skier. If you're a real passive skier that wants something that's a little easier and softer turning. It's a 5 out of 5 absolutely for the value for the Rossi Experience 77.
Hi I'm Brooks, I just got off the Rossignol Experience 77. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's a good entry-level ski but it's got enough meat to it that it's going to be able to go all the way up into the intermediate level. Good solid ski, carves really nice. Really easy edge to edge, short turns and big turns. 4 out of 5 stars.
Hi I'm Thom, I just got off of the Rossignol Experience 77. As far as entry-level beginner skis go, this thing is a 5 out of 5 star. If you're just getting into skiing, just getting out of rental and you're looking to own your first pair of skis; this is a very, very good choice. It's a very confidence inspiring ski, as it's incredibly light, easy to get up on to edge, holds really well but it also smears and skids and slides the turn. So you don't have to be technically sound but it will definitely give you the ability to get there and really learn how to carve a ski. A very, very good option for that entry-level skier. 5 out of 5 stars.
Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Rosssignol Experience 77. This is a 5 out of 5 star ski for me. Its Auto-Turn Rocker and its Air-Tip Construction makes it extremely easy to maneuver. It's a fantastic ski for that true beginner, all the way up to that solid intermediate. If you're looking to get into a ski that's just extremely easy to control, that can still skid a turn or if you want a ski that will help you start to learn how to carve a turn; this is the perfect ski for you. 5 out of 5 stars.
Hi I'm Steve, I just got off the Rossignol Experience 77 skis. I'd give these skis 5 out of 5 stars. They're a great beginner ski, even for a beginner that's transitioning to intermediate. They turn really well, they're very stable underfoot. Really good on the icy crud as well as on the nice groomed runs. Stable and even controllable as you get going faster. I give them 5 out of 5 stars.
A: Based on your weight and ability this would be a good starting point for you, but once you start to improve you can overpower this ski rather quickly. I would suggest the Experience 80 HD (the next step up) that will help you learn and improve, but will give you more control and stability as your skills improve.
