Love these skates
Comments:
Love the color. A little tuff to put on. I ware size 8 in women. I ordered size 8 and they are true size 8 snug fit. I go hard on these skates and I don't worry about getting caught up on rocks.

Try before you buy
Comments:
Description fit my skating style to a " T ". The specs were all right: aluminum frame, wheel-size, durameter, bearings. Hardshell boot is the only kind I'd ever worn. And I wanted to love them! But, the Twisters just plain hurt. (Inside ankle bones.) Even in a different size. Even in the men's make or with foot inserts. No such luck. I couldn't get this skate to feel good on me and did return.
Return was fairly and expediously handled by Summit the way they promise.

The Best!
Comments:
I love those skates. Twister 80 is what you are looking for if you are going for both, long rides at the beach or busy populated areas where you have to stop and go. If you are going for a long ride you are definitely getting a great workout. I wouldn't recommend those to a beginner unless they are serious about this activity. They are easy to manage, you have full control and mobility and the comfort is amazing. They match my true shoe size, I wouldn't go for higher or lower. I definitely recommend the rollerblade socks, not just for matching colors but they are more protective than the regular socks and you won't get any blisters. I love those skates and I hope in the future Rollerblade comes up with more bright colors for women, like yellow, green, red, mixed colors. I would probably buy one of each.

Fast & Fun
Comments:
These skates are fast! Put them on after a few years of not skating and almost fell. Love the color and they roll super smooth over almost any surface. Order process was a breeze and they came really quickly. Only negative thing I can say is that the binding and strings are a tad difficult to tighten up. Awkward to hold open the straps while tying the laces. Maybe they just need to be worn in? Overall I love them and would recommend them!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SKATES!
Comments:
Being a female with original Rollerblade Lightning TRS skates from the late 80s/early 90s, with buckles that finally broke, I went on the search for the perfect replacements. These Twister 80 2015 skates fit the bill. What a difference a couple decades make. This shock absorbers on these skates are amazing making such a smooth ride. I wear a size 7 shoe & the same size skate fits perfectly. I use these daily during good weather conditions to exercise my dog, which is easy to do given the amount of control these skates provide. Speed is likely diminished somewhat compared to the Lightning skates but I am 100 percent satisfied with this purchase. The design & comfort is great.

These Twister 80W 2015 skates are awesome!
Comments:
These skates arrived sooner than expected. They are very nice, provide exceptional control, with good shock absorption. They are spot-on true-to-size & come with extra strings which are black. I would have scored it 5 stars if the liners weren't so uncomfortable. Blisters first time out on both sides of my right ankle. Will try higher, thicker socks next time. Also, lacing up & latching these skates seems way more time-consuming than my original Rollerblade Lightning TRS skates I've been using for the last 20+ years. Will just take some getting used to. Overall, good quality skate & well worth the wait. I would highly recommend & I skate almost daily, weather permitting!

 Q & A

Q: i used to be a fairly aggressive inline skater (beginnger-ish half-pipe rider) when i was much much younger. i haven't owned rollerblades or skated since the 90s, but i want to get back into it. i don't really want to go fast or do anything advanced. i definitely never want to get back onto a halfpipe. i basically want to have fun and not get injured. i just want to skate around the park for exercise. are these are good skate for me or should i go with one of the 'exercise' options. also, what is your return policy if i don't like the skates i bought...? what if i've skated on them?

A: These would be a good skate if you want to keep some of that aggressive skate style of fit, as these have a hard plastic outer similar to an aggressive skate. These skates are going to offer a bit more support than the other skates in the fitness category as these are made to take abuse and protect the foot. It really depends on what you are looking for, I personally have a pair of both since I enjoy the feeling of the aggressive skate styling (former halfpipe/park skater too) but I also like my softer skates when I'm looking for more of a leisurely skate around. I would recommend really keying in on what is most important to you as many of today's skates have similar features but are geared towards slightly different styles of skating.

Q: is there a difference in width and fit of the maxxuum 90 and the twister 80 for women or is the boot and the liner all the same?
Asked : May 19, 2016
By : mayra, chicago illinois
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Maxxum skates use the Maxxum shell and the Twister uses the twister shell, in my opinion the Maxxum is slightly wider than the twister but not enough to make a viable difference. They both use the same liner with the specialized 5 star fit. In most women's specific skates the width is slightly narrower and the cuff goes down a bit lower. Since these skates have a low cuff already and the liner allows for a good fit on many foot types there isn't any real differences between the women's and men's urban style Rollerblade brand skates. I would make the decision based on the wheel sizes and the overall type of skating you are doing. Maxxum 90 is better for longer skates and getting to higher speeds, the Twister 80 is more maneuverable

Q: Would these skates be a good choice for skating on rough pavement?
Asked : Feb 07, 2016
By : Shy, Nebraska
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Yes, these would be great for skating on rough pavement. The wheels are large enough to go over bumps and debris but no so large as to go too fast giving you good control.
