These are my first pair of blades since middle school. I'm mainly a quad skater. Getting used to the speed was slightly nerve racking and super fun. The size ran true to my shoe size. The smoothness of the ride is great. Its what I expect f...Read More

Thanks for the review, I skate with the Maxxum 90s and can say I've had similar issues from time to time with extended skate sessions. I've found a few times where I ended up with some abrasion that I didn't have the tongue of the skate perfectly centered when I tightened the skates. These skates are great performers but with that I've found I need to be extra vigilante when putting them on to ensure I have everything lined up. Now that is my personal experience so you're fit issue could be totally different. If you're having problems with a strap contact customer service and they can take care of ordering a replacement for you. Best, Chris

Love these skates, i use them DAILY depending on the weather. I reach speeds up to 22MPH. They are very zippy and will defiantly throw you down if you arent careful. I would recommend these to advanced skaters for sure! Only think i dislike...Read More

Cory Jay, sounds like you are really getting great use of your Maxxum skates. I have the Maxxum 90's and absolutely love them but you may have convinced me to upgrade :) For the wheels it sounds like you actually got a lot of skating in before having to rotate the wheels, I have to rotate mine more often but I am at 200lbs which can make a difference in the wear patterns. I'm on my 2nd year with the Maxxum 90s and the buckles seem to be holding up fine but time will tell for sure. Thanks for the review, have fun skating! Chris

Q: Can you put smaller wheels on these skates? For instance, 76mm, 80mm and etc.
Asked : Apr 16, 2016
By : Pattie, Lowell
Know the answer? Answer this question

A:Yes, going down in wheel size is almost always possible on skates. As long as you stay consistent with the sizing since this skate has staggered sizing you'll be fine, but sounds like you've already thought of that.

Q: can I put 4 of the same size wheels on these blades? (for example all 4 90 mm wheels) OR does the 2nd wheel from the front ALWAYS have to be 10 mm smaller per the boot design?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:It is recommended that the wheels be set up in the fashion they are set up. Per Rollerblade on the reasoning behind this "It is a low balance. As this boot has a 165 frame fixation we can not fix a 100 mm wheel second wheel. Otherwise the balance will be too high. For the roll and skating there is no difference. Even better as you are lower." Hopefully this helps!

Q: Why are they rated as low ventilation and the 2015 are at medium? The description shows the same liner and boot.? (The vented, molded hard shell provides plenty of support, paired with Specialized Fit liners that ensure comfort for all activities.)

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:Ventilation is going to be the same as the 2015 model. Thanks for pointing out the mix-up, we will update the information to show this correctly.

Q: what rollerblads do yall have for people who r 300 pounds
Asked : Dec 15, 2015

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:These Maxxum 100 skates that you have asked your question on would be a good choice. Although inline skate manufacturers do not release weight limits for their skates, you can feel confident going with a higher end model skate. Especially skates like the Maxxum series, considered to be urban styles skates, which offer a more durable frame and boot set up as they are meant for taking abuse skating around a city setting. There are many skate models though that offer a high performance metal or metal alloy frame, so just be sure to look for this when shopping.
