Great Blades
Comments:
These Rollerblade Macroblade 90 Skates are a great purchase, and I am very glad I decided to buy them. I put close to 100 miles on them this summer, and they prove to stay comfortable for rides that are up to an hour long. After that I found my feet getting excessively sweaty, but that might not be the same for everyone. Great fit, no rubbing, secure fastening system all make these skates feel very trustworthy on my feet. The wheel & bearing combination are fast, and I can cover the miles in what feels like no time at all.

Macroblade 90
Comments:
This is a great INTER/ADV level skate and the SG9 bearings are fast. However, if you have a really narrow foot and skinny legs, you may want to consider a different skate. It's pretty tough to make the skate perfectly tight around my foot, ankle, and lower leg the way I like it.

Pretty Good
Comments:
I got what I wanted. A speed type. It goes smoothly over cracks due to the special wheels. Once you start rolling, you go fast. Not for beginners.

Q: I used to do some aggressive inline skating, mostly ramps back in the 90's, and I am pretty comfortable with recreational ice skating. I'm curious on how I determine what level of skates would fit my current skill?

A:It all depends on what you are looking to do with the skates. The skates on this page would be a great choice for general skating for fitness and recreation. As you are a strong skater you can go with something a bit nicer like this skate and have some room to grow your skating without outgrowing the skates. If you wanted a more aggressive style boot there are K2 and Rollerblade brand urban skates that will offer a larger wheel for more speed but they offer a more aggressive style skate. As a former aggressive skater myself I own a pair of skates similar to these and a pair of urban skates so I get the best of both worlds ;) But just keep in mind why you want skates and what type of skating you will be doing.

Q: Hey, I bought these skates a few months ago and my brake has worn down. Where can I buy a new one?

A:You can order a new brake for your skates from us. You will want the Rollerblade Brake Pad STD 2 PK Inline Skate Brake 2016 which you can enter in the on site search box to see. This brake will fit these skates.

Q: I like doing small jumps & spins, will I miss the support of a hard shell ??

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:Yes, you will want a more supportive skate for doing jumps and spins. It sounds like you need an urban style skate, urban skates offer similar performance to fitness skate but with a plastic outer and more support. The best bet for a skate similar to the Macroblade 90 would be the Maxxum 90 as you still get the 90mm wheel offering great speed but you get a hard plastic boot giving great support for trick maneuvers.
