Designed for the ladies who are relatively new to the sport, the Rapture has all right technology to get you riding like a pro. The soft flex and low-rise Twin Rocker Profile are ideal for learning and building confidence because you'll spend less time on your rear and more time looking cute with a smile ear to ear. The full wood Foundation Core provides a supportive and stable base while still being flexible and soft under foot. The best new feature to the Rapture this year is the Slimewall technology which helps to reduce chatter at high speeds and makes interactions with the snow, wood, or metal surfaces smooth like butter. Whether you're a newbie rider just learning the ropes or a seasoned vet looking for a soft and flexible ride for a great price, the Rapture is just the deck to get the job done.

Q: Hi! I started with the RIDE Canvas 147 as my first board. It has treated me well. No tricks or parks for me but just looking for something stable, fun and easy to turn. Curious how the Rapture compares to the Canvas. From the east coast but head out west once per season. Would love something that can handle east coast ice and that oh so lovely powder out west. Thanks! V

A:Are you referring to the Ride Canvas or the Flow Canvas? The Ride Canvas hasn't been around for quite some time, but the Flow Canvas still is. The Flow Canvas is a solid choice if you're looking for a go everywhere do everything board. It has a combination of rocker which makes it forgiving and aids in float, but still has camber as well which will make charging on groomers and hard pack snow a breeze. If you're looking to stick with Ride, the next jump up would be the Saturday and then ultimately the Hellcat. The Hellcat underwent some huge changes this year and now has more of a powder/freeride shape. I had the chance to ride it in deep snow as well as on groomers and it excels at both. The Saturday won't be as aggressive and is actually a twin. It's more of an all mountain freestyle board than a charger and won't be quite as demanding
