Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis for versatile all-mountain

The Nordica Santa Ana 93 is a ripping ski for ladies that will charge through any condition on any mountain. A 93mm waist floats in the powder, powers through crud, and feels impressively nimble in the bumps or groomers. Nordica's Balsa Core CA has a microlam design just for women to be powerful, but light on your feet, and will not cause extra fatigue. The All-Mountain camRock Profile has a rockered tip that provides excellent floatation and very quick turn initiation. Camber underfoot delivers a high amount of rebound and superb edge hold when things can feel firm. A slight amount of rocker in the tail will give you an easy release from carves and will improve the maneuverability in the fresh snow. If you want to blow in like a winter storm, make sure that you have the new Nordica Santa Ana on your feet.

Hey Jess here, I just got off the Nordica Santa Ana 93's. I would give this ski a 5 out of 5 stars. It's an advanced level ski and it really rips and grips very, very well. When you initiate the turn if you ever have trouble with trying to ...Read More

Q: I have been skiing on the K2 burning luv for several years and am looking for something slightly less aggressive as I get older. I just demo'd the Santa Ana 93 on a recent and rare powder day in NH. It was great in the soft snow and held up all day as the snow bumped up. My question is would this give me the control of the luv with a little less aggression on hard pack that is our more prevalent ski conditions?

A:The Santa Ana skis great on firm and fresh snow regardless of how aggressive you are. The edge hold and stability are very solid. The biggest difference between this and your Burnin Luv is that with this nearly 20mm wider ski underfoot you may find it a tad sluggish for super tight carves on the firmest of snow.

Q: I am an advanced Intermediate skier looking to progress onto more challenging and unpredictable terrain. I am 5'2 and 95 lbs. Currently own a Nordica frontside ski that I absolutely love. Would this ski be too much for me to handle?

A:The Santa Ana 153cm would be a great option for you. Although it is loaded with power, the ski is not overly demanding or fatiguing, even for a petite skier like yourself.

A:The Santa Ana 93 is a totally new ski this season. Last year the Santa Ana only was available in a 100mm waist. This year a 100mm and 93mm waist is available. The only difference between the two are the waist width.
