The evolution of ski boots continues and the current leader is Nordica. With its FireArrow F3 Ski Boots you'll have an edge above so many other boots out there on the market that you will be able to dominate the mountain. A Tongue Rebound feature provides additional comfort and support. The Progressive Flex dominates the FireArrows with its ease while in a neutral position but increasing in stiffness when you flex deeper into turns those sharp turns. EDT Technology offers a carbon reinforced bootboard attached directly to the shell which ensures more power to skis without expelling more energy. This also equals sharper turns and increased torsional stiffness. solid boot
Comments:
I am an advancedexpert east coast skier. This boot really locks you in and allows for great carves and edge skiing. It is a tight and narrow boot so by the end of the day, I'm ready to get out of them but that's what you need in a solid boot.

Q: Hi, I am an intermediate to advanced skiier, continually working to improve, that skis very fast and aggressively on east coast groomers on Rossi Ti Pursuit skis. My feet measure about 26 3/4 cm long and 96 3/4 wide, high arch. I am 5'11", 170#, athletic and 48 years young, screaming down trails and carving high speed, keeping up with 14 year old son and 17 year old daughter. Any thoughts of Nordica Firearrow 3, 2013 for me? What are the negatives of the FireArrow? We spend all day on the mountain, some of the time I am camera man in the terrain park, so preference is to have feet comfortable able and warm, not willing to forego this for speed and control. How is the liner in this boot, warmth, moldable etc. Thks,Doug

A: The Nordica FireArrow F3 will be a pretty stiff boot, and will not be as comfortable for you as some other options, leading me to believe that they may not be the best boot for you if comfort is an important factor. I would instead look at the Transire R1 or R2, which will be a bit more comfort oriented while still giving you a responsive boot you can grow into and continue to progress in skill wise.

Q: What is the difference between the "sport" liner in this boot and the "performance" liner in the Transfire R1?
Asked : Aug 25, 2014
By : Yankee trapped in the south., Nashville, TN
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Sport liner is designed to provide more comfort to the wearer of the Nordica FireArrow F3's, despite the stiffer flex of the boots overall, whereas the Performance liner on the R1's will be stiffer and more response driven.

A: The 2013 and 2014 Nordica FireArrow F3's will be identical, with the exception of the graphics. Unfortunately we no longer have the F3's in stock to weigh at this time, and this information was not provided from the manufacturer directly.

Q: I have a pretty wide foot and mondo 28.5. I am advanced downhill and like a stiff boot. Is this FireArrow F3 a good choice or better the Salomon SPK 100. I wasn't sure if a freestyle boot would make a good downhill boot. Thanks. Cheers.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: While the Nordica FireArrow F3 will make for a better downhill boot, as it is stiffer and designed for carving specifically as opposed to freestyle skiing, it will be a more medium width boot and may not be your best bet for your foot shape.

Q: I am an ex instructor who five years ago went back on the mountain after a 4 year break. I want to get back into the sport and on my last trip I purchased Atomic R10s that were a revelation (compared to my Volkl 203cm). Problem was that I was using my Rossignol Course K and they were STIFF! Two questions 1) I'm 5'-9" 185 athletic build, medium to wide foot, was able to ski diamonds and DD, on my last trip, will these boots work for me? 2) I skied a 27.5 size, but it was tight for response, any problem going to 28.0?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Nordica FireArrow F3 will be a solid option for you, as they will be a stiffer boot that is still comfortable (compared to a super stiff race boot like the Course K). If the 27.5 seemed too tight, going to the 28.5 will be fine, although you should keep in mind that once the boots have a chance to break in they will expand about a half size larger as well.

Q: Hi I am trying to pick between FireArrow F1 and f3, (f2 is out of stock in my 28,5 size). I consider my self an advanced skier, even I didn?t ski as much in past few year, I am planning to do more next year. I have a pretty strong legs, as past pro hockey player, and I weight about 220 lbs. I like for a boot to be comfortable and same time have a good support. which one would you recommend?

A: The Nordica FireArrow F3 will be the better option for you, as it will give you a solid set of boots to use now as well as continue to give you room to grow into them skill wise as you get more into the sport.

Q: I currently ski the Nordica Beast10 size 27.0-27.5. I'm a much better skier looking for something stiffer. My skill level is advanced, but not an expert yet. Spend most of my time frontside, but dabble off piste when mother nature allows. Should I go with FireArrow F3 or F1?? What size should I purchase?
Asked : Feb 17, 2014
By : Back Doc, Pittsburgh
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: As a step up from your Beast 10's, I would recommend going to the Nordica FireArrow F3's over F1's. The F1's will be way more stiff than the F3's and will be designed for the expert level skier.
