 Overview

The Nordica Cruise 80 is a great boot for the mellow intermediate skier who has a medium to wide forefoot and medium to wide shaft of the leg. The 80 flex in this boot is best suited for a taller or heavier skier that needs some more support and a wider fit, because softer boots do not give you the responsiveness that you need. The 104 mm last and squared off toe box of the Cruise 80 will firmly grab the widest part of your foot and help your toes spread causing you to have better balance as you make your way down the mountain. Nordicas NFS (Natural Foot Stance) has a slightly abducted shape with your toes pointing outward the way you would normally stand to improve your comfort, and make turning a ski more efficient for you. The Adjustable Cuff Profile (ACP) can change the shape of the cuff by either increasing or decreasing the amount of space you have in the calf area of the boot. Nordicas PFP Comfort fit liner is soft and cushy with some extra insulation to keep your feet warm all day out on the slopes. If you are looking for a boot that has a medium to wide fit in all areas with a not too squishy flex the Nordica Cruise 80 will be a great boot for you.

A: Hi, The Nordica Cruise 80 and 90 are both great boots for the progressing skier. Both of those boots will fit very similarly, and great for wider feet. The shell designs are the same shape. The difference is that the Cruise 90 is made from a bit stiffer plastic and has an upgraded PFP Precision Fit Liner compared to the PFP Comfort Fit Liner in the Cruise 80. If you are hoping to continue improving your skiing technique I would suggest getting the Cruise 90. Since you are experiencing foot issues, I would highly recommend replacing the stock foot bed with the Sidas Winter Snow + Insoles which can be trimmed to fit exactly inside any boots. The stock insoles in any boot provide very limited arch support. If you have any more questions please let us know.
