The Nordica Cruise 75W makes a perfect ski boot for the intermediate to advanced skier that has a medium to wide forefoot, and medium to wide shaft of the leg. The Cruise 75 has an ACP (Adjustable Cuff Profile) that allows you to adjust the fit on your calf muscle by turning two dials located on the upper cuff of the boot with an allen wrench. Four Micro Adjustable Aluminum Buckles help you get the fit dialed in just right, with adequate tension on the buckles. Nordica's NFS (Natural Foot Stance) uses a slightly abducted stance with your toes pointing outward, the way you would naturally stand to ease the amount of comfort that you have when you are not clicked into your skis, and help make the transitions between edges more efficient when you are making turns on the mountain.

Excellent Boot!
Comments:
I carefully considered flex ratings for boots before purchasing these. Overall, I am glad that I chose these Nordicas. I like to ski intermediate and advanced runs, especially fast, groomed cruisers, and I find these boots to be very responsive and comfortable. The flex isn't too soft nor so hard that I have to apply a lot of muscle strength to achieve a good stance. My only complaint is that, by the end of a long day of skiing, the top of the boot has become too tight and constricts my calf muscles uncomfortably. I do have muscular, athletic calves. This website's Standard, Medium, and High Calf Volume spec categories were very useful in helping me to select a boot that would fit me, but I just wish that ski boot manufacturers would list ranges of actual calf sizes that the boot is made for, just like the ones you can see when shopping for women's dress boots online, i.e. "fits calf circumferences up to 16". Anyway, I just adjust the buckles at the end of the day to almost the loosest setting to remedy this problem. The buckle system is wonderful: it's not only super-easy to use (I used to have to struggle mightily with stiff plastics), but the buckles themselves are attached to sliders with two extra settings on the boot so that you have extra adjustability for tightness or looseness. Also, my toes used to always freeze while skiing, but these boots keep them warm and toasty even in frigid, snowing conditions. I'm really happy I bought them.
