Overview

The Glide Control interface allows the toe piece to glide, giving the ski ability to bend or flex deeper, in a smoother more rounded arch throughout the complete radius of the turn . A dynamic system that provides cleaner, smoother and more controlled turns. No other binding system works like marker's glide control technology. Marker's new sport performance interfaces guarantees direct, precise power transmission of the skiers forces to the edge of the ski. The additional stand height improves leverage and offers sport performance skiers a dynamic turning advantage. Mechanically Operating toe cups - When the mechanical toe cups open, the remaining binding force drops instantly, allowing the boot to exit the system immediately. Marker's unique total contact design allows the toe cups and AFD to work together to respond to the complex dynamic of backward twisting or forward twisting combined load falls. Biotech programmed upward Release - During a backward twisting fall, release is all but certain after 4 to 5 millimeters of lateral movement. the biometric channels unaligned, immediately reducing the upward release by force by 25 to 50 % depending on the skier's individual release force setting. This reduces the force on the skier before the boot exits the system. No other binging has a feature that works like Biotech.

Q: I bought these with Volkl 5 Stars and used only 5 times-ski broke then replaced with 6 stars that had their own binding system. Will these Titanium 1200 bindings work on newer all mountain skiis- Volkl 100eight or Nordica Nemesis with 96 -100 mm waist on new skiis?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Titanium 1200 is designed for a much narrower ski like the 5 or 6 Star. Modern bindings have a wider footprint that increases responsiveness and torsional rigidity that the Ti 1200 does not do. If you want optimal performance out of a wider ski, I would suggest the Marker Griffon, Salomon STH WTR 13, Look SPX 12 or the Tyrolia Attack 13.

Q: Would these bindings fit Volkl 6 stars skis?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The 6-Star was only produced as a system ski that requires one of the earliest versions of the Marker Motion system binding. It is very difficult to find a system ski binding for a ski that is bindingless. These will not fit on the plate of the 6-Stars.

Q: I have an 310 boot ( 27.0 27.5 ) is this binding adjustable if I wanted to let a friend use my ski's if he has a differant size boot

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Marker Titanium 1200 Glide Control bindings will have an adjustable range of about a full boot size, so if you have the boots set to your size they should also fit up to a size 28.5 boot as well.
