 Overview

The Line Sir Francis Bacon is back again this season as a perfect ski for a progressive skier looking for that perfect all-mountain/freestyle feel. The Bacon sports 104mm waist and Symmetrical Flex that is equally at home stomping huge landings in the park, greasing triple kink rails, crushing deep turns, or flying down a groomer at top speed. Line's Partly Cloudy Core has a very high strength to weight ratio, and is made from a blend of light wood to provide you with a lightweight ski that can butter with the best of them, yet powerful enough for you to send it at top speed. If you want a ski that has a freestyle feeling that can slay any terrain you can throw at it, this little piggy is for you.

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Sir Francis Bacon from Line. I give this ski 3.5 out of 5 stars, it's really not my kind of ski, I don't really care for skis that have a symmetrical flex. This is a great ski for any progressive rider looking for a ski that can rip in the park, or just give you an overall super freestyle, light, snappy feeling on the mountain. I usually prefer skis that are a little bit damper, but this is a very, very playful ski. You can ski it switch, you can surf it in the pow, it actually charges very well in the bumps. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Jeff, I just got off the Line Sir Francis Bacon. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. It's for your advanced to expert skier. It just skis really well, everywhere you're going to take it. It's got a little bit of rocker in the tip and tail so it's going to float really well in deep snow and they give you a nice full sidewall. So it rips really hard on hard snow as well! I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars for its versatility.

Hi I'm Jon I just got off the Line Sir Francis Bacon. This ski is super greasy, I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. This is that one quiver ski meant for big mountain powder, you can take it in the park if you wanted to, and it's very great on the hard pack. That full sidewall construction is going to make it very responsive, and hold very well on the ice conditions.

Hi I'm Josh, I just got off the Sir Francis Bacon by Line Skis. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. Last year they changed the shape up, made it a little bit narrower, 104 underfoot with early rise and early taper tip and tail. This year they went from the Macro Wood Block to partial Cloud Core to lighten the ski up a little bit. This ski holds a great edge on hard pack like we've got today. With the shape of it I'm sure it would float in some softer snow. It's a fun ski to ride it's pretty jibby for the width. If you're an expert level skier looking for a wide all-mountain ski or kind of a wide jib ski, this would be an awesome ski for you. 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Thom, I just got off of the Line Sir Francis Bacon. This is a 4 out of 5 star ski for me. This ski's really going to excel for your advanced intermediate up through your expert level skier. It's a package where it's a true all-mountain ski but it's got so much freestyle playfulness to it. If you're looking for that ski that you can legitimately run a couple park laps and slash a couple pow lines immediately after, this is it. Very light, very lively, tons of pop. Really easy to ski, the little bit of tip and tail rocker makes the thing effortless, skis switch real well also. Just all around, kind of a fun, fun ski. 4 out of 5 stars.
