The Line Prophet 90 has been the standard of all mountain twin tip since its inception. At 90mm under foot it can carve, turn, float, and spin with the best of them. The Line Metal Matrix give the ski torsional and lateral stiffness with out adding excessive weight, the way skis with edge to edge metal have. 60cm of Early Rise in the tip will help the Prophet 90 float all but the deepest powder, engage turns quicker on the hard pack, and keep your skiing smooth when the pow is gone and things are getting a little crudded up. The 32cm of Early Rise in the tail will help you smear turns and dump speed when it is time to line up that cliff drop. The Cap Wall Construction is a blend of cap in the tip and tail, with a sidewall under foot that gives you better edge grip with things get firm and a feeling of more power behind your turns. The Fatty Base Edge is a 30% thicker base and edge that increases the durability and the tuning life of the ski. If you day of skiing will include skiing some trees, a run or two in the park, charging the bowl after you got a late start on a pow day, and burning some groomers, the Prophet 90 is a great choice.

Skill Range:

  • Cap Wall Constriction
  • Metal Matrix Construction
  • 63cm of Early Rise in the Tip

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hi, Tom here with the Line Prophet 90. I'm gonna give this ski a 5/5. I really enjoyed this one, Super stable, tons of edge hold. It engages really easily, as its got the metal in it, it does require a little bit of work. So you don't wanna put an intermediate on this. Anything from your kind of aspiring, advanced skier, to your solid expert skier, your gonna be able to get on here, rip it up, groomed, soft snow, crud. Its gonna handle everything, but the deep pow days, just stable, fun, and predictable.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Tyler here with the Prophet 90. 2013 from Line. Great ski. One of my favorite skis of the day. All around it's really fun, really fun to carve on, really light under your foot. It's only 90 underfoot so you still pretty much a good all around ski for just straight groomers and anything from an intermediate all the way up to an expert yeah.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hey, Josh here, with the Prophet 90's, by Line. Love this ski, I'm gonna give it 5/5 stars. This is a great all around ski, for beginner to advanced skier. There a lot of fun, there really playful, they carve really well, they hold an edge great. This would be a cool ski to learn on groomers, an all that, up to an advanced skier, an have a lot of fun with these skis.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hi I'm Charlie. I just got off the Prophet 90. I give this ski 5/5 stars. This is a great ski for an intermediate advanced skier. It's got a lot of pop to it. It's a great ski for making quick short turns, or making big long turns. If you want one ski to do everything this is the ski for you.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hey, I'm Brad, I just got off the Line Prophet 90's. I'm gonna give this ski a 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. Liked it, it was definitely predictable, held pretty well underfoot. Just didn't have a lot of the responsiveness I was hoping for, out of a ski like this. The metal definitely gives it a nice damp ride, it is solid at higher speeds. Definitely not for your beginner to intermediate. You wanna be able to ski at higher speeds, and really load it up, to get it to arc right. Again, I was looking for something that was a little poppier, maybe give me a little more snap turn to turn. So if your looking for something thats a little bit more of a stiffer, maybe like a race like ride, this toys just a little damp for that.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hey there Sean, I just got done skiing the Line Prophet 90 ski. This skis gonna be geared towards their advanced to almost expert skier. I give this ski a 4/5 stars. It was a little hard for me to control. Maybe if I was a little heavier, or a little bit better of a skier it would be little easier for me down the mountain. It was kinda hard to get onto the edge of the ski a little bit, but it was very stable. It was just hard to get it on edge, and make a nice carving turn, but overall it was somewhat forgiving. It felt fun on the mountain, but overall gonna have to give this ski a 4/5 stars.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hi I'm Kevin, I just got off the Line Prophet 90. I give this ski 4 1/2 out of five stars. For a solid all mountain 90 waisted ski it's really tough to beat the Prophet 90. Really just does a lot of things very well. Snow was a little bit cruddy out here right now, choppy. It kinda pushed through everything, plowed it over, still held very good on the groomers. You get it in the cruddy stuff though, and it just mashes right through it. So for a versatile all mountain ski for advanced intermediate to a advanced level skier. Definitely a good option from Line, 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

2013 Line Prophet 90 Ski Review

By Jeff G

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Whats going on, Jeff here, Line Prophet 90, little bit different ski for this year, 5/5 stars. Its good, because I own it, the new version your gonna get a little bit more sidewall out of this ski. It still has the Metal Matrix on the inside. So, its got a ton of backbone, this thing is just a riot to run. If you got a little under a foot of snow, is cool, loose pack, groomers, trees, bumps. Definitely not a park ski which is cool, so if you wanted an all mountain wrecker, this is an awesome ski for you.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hey this is Hunter here, I just got off the Prophet 90. I gave this ski 4/5 stars. It's for your aggressive all mountain skier that wants to ski all day long. Plenty of edge, plenty of grip, full camber to the ski, but it's not punishing to ride. Still initiates a turn on its own. If your looking at the Prophet 98, and think it might be a little too much ski go with the Prophet 90, really works well.

Comments about Line Prophet 90 Skis:

Hi I'm Brandon, I'm here with the Line Prophet 90. I just got off this ski, and I give it a 4/5. It was solid turning from edge to edge. Not as quick as some of the more narrow Prophet series, but it's still gonna give you a nice edge hold when your taking strong wide turns. It is a little wider so it is gonna take you into a little bit more soft snow, and allow you to play around in some spots in the trees. Let you do a little more then the 85, but still this is a super solid ski.

I am looking at buying this ski & a Marker Griffon binding. Should I get the Griffon binding with a 90mm brake or 110mm brake?

      A:

Neither the 90mm or 110mm bindings would work with the Line Prophet 90 Skis. You will want to purchase bindings that are 5-10mm larger than the waist width of the skis, and you can go as large as 15mm bigger than the waist width, but the ideal range is 5-10mm larger
