 Overview

The Liberty Schuster Pro is the new signature model for pro skier Joe Schuster. The Schuster Pro has uses Double Carbon Fiber Stringers that sit above the Speedcore to give you a ski that will be stable as fast as you can ski it, with extra pop and power with the combination of Carbon Fiber, Bamboo, and Poplar. The Schuster has a Multi-Radius Sidecut that makes it very easy to manipulate the ski into any turn shape you want, even in the tight trees. Liberty's Bomb Rocker is the absolute bomb by having a fully rockered tip and tail for extra flotation in the deep stuff, and a small amount of camber underfoot for extra edge hold and stability. The mid body of the Schuster Pro is stiff while the tips and tails are considerably softer that allows you to pivot in pow, and lay down big turns when you need to at light speed. The 122mm waist feels unsinkable in the uber deep, but has an agile feeling when you need to change direction because your line closed out. Don't be just an average Joey skiing, step up like the Pro Joe Schuster.

All LOVE no hate
Comments:
I was able to get out on these the week after a PNW storm rolled through, which left some fairly heavy snow in places 9-10".
I was immediately surprised how well the JS pro model floated! I quickly realized these would be my pow ski of choice for the season! Since that day in Nov, I have not put these away.
They are not too stiff for me as other reviews indicated, I am 6-2", 190b maybe that helps.
They are quick edge to edge, as quick as I need a ski to be of these dimensions.
Would not hesitate to recommend these!

Double Helix on Steroids
Comments:
This ski is beast. I've loved my Liberty Double Helix 182's so this year decided to try the Schuster Pro 184's. Tip to tail Carbon Fiber Stringer in this model increases the stiffness over my Double Helix's. Bomb Rocker Profile surfs the deep days and remains in control on the not so deep. Thicker bases and overall an incredible performing ski. Do not be scared of the fat dimensions of this ski, I've skied them in all conditions this year and they are great. I did my homework and read the reviews and this one deserves the Freeskier Magazine editors pick that it earned this year. If you like to ski aggressive big mtn lines, but also find yourself hitting backcountry kickers, this is the ski for you.

Shuster Pro, Buy it.
Comments:
The new Shuster is such a fun ski. Liberty went with a slightly different construction adding carbon to their poplar/bamboo ski and it made a huge difference. This ski is made for charging pow and sending cliffs. I can’t wait for my next day out on it.

THE HARD CHARGIN POW DESTROYER
Comments:
DO YOU WANNA SKI FAST? DO YOU WANT TO GO BIG? DO YOU LOVE DOING HUGE AIRS INTO DEEP SNOW AND RIDE IT OUT LIKE A BAUSSSS? THEN THESE SKIS ARE FOR YOU.

YOU WONT NEED ANYTHING ELSE, EVER. EXCEPT MAYBE DOUBLE KNEE REPLACEMENTS CAUSE YOU WILL HAVE SHREDDED YOUR LEGS TO BITS BEFORE YOU BLOW THESE SKIS UP.

STIFF AS *&%$ UNDERFOOT, BUTTERY TIPS AND TAILS, MADE FOR AGRESSIVE SKIERS WHO LIKE TO SKI LIKE KELLY SLATER SMASHES WAVES.

I HAVE NEVER HAD A SKI BEFORE THAT LETS ME SKI AS FAST AND AGGRESSIVELY BUT WITH SO MUCH STYLE, CONTROL, AND MANEUVERABILITY.

DID I MENTION THEY ARE BOMBPROOF? DAILY LAPS DOWN THE CHEESEGRATER HARDLY GOT MY P-TEX FAZED.

ONLY DOWNFALL I'VE HAD WITH THESE SKIS THIS SEASON IS STICKERS DONT LAST LONG ON THE TOPSHEETS.

WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS, JUST BUY THE SKIS!!!

This ski is awesome!
Comments:
This ski has been so great for me! I have skied it in everything from deep dry powder, to wetter heavier coastal snow, pillows and jumps and even groomers and it has had an amazing performance in all of these conditions, I would definitely suggest this ski to anyone wanting to ride powder!

Pro model not only for pros!
Comments:
I'm an experienced skier, but by no means a pro. I bought the Schuster Pro model on a recommendation from a friend, and I have to say that I have never skied better in my life. Powder, groomers, ice, and crud are all no problem for these skis. They are wider than anything I ever tried before but lemme tell you that it's a huge advantage. And talk about speed - I was worried that I wouldn't carry speed from a groomer into a pow stash, but man, these things rock. I recommend them very highly. I'm on the 184cm. Only downside is that they are slightly stiff underfoot. A great ski.
