The Inferno Ski Boots are the perfect all mountain high performers. Featuring the design elements that have made it the most successful all mountain freeride boot in history, the Inferno features the classic, long, progressive range of flex for more exacting control, power, versatility, and grip through every turn. To create it, Lange started with the same World-Cup-bred 98-millimeter lower found in the Banshee, re-cast the upper cuff in a marginally more forgiving material, and installed a gel insert in the tongue liner all with the aim of putting grins back on the grimacing faces of freestyle competitors and lighter expert skiers.

Comments about Lange Inferno Ski Boots:

It's nice that Lange has kept this shell around despite moving towards the offering of a few wider shell widths to fit more people. They aren't race-boot narrow, but still great for those wanting a more snug fit around the forefoot.

The shell length is a few millimeters longer than most manufacturers for the same size boot, so keep that in mind. I usually drop down a size for Langes compared to others, and have the toe punched just a bit to compensate.

The addition of the gel pad in the shin is awesome. We'll see how it works out this fall.

Comments about Lange Inferno Ski Boots:

This boot was great for skiing the icy northeast. If you're looking for a boot for feet that are narrow and long, then this boot fits that mold. It was stiff enough to respond instantly to my turns yet the gel tongue and the overall design make it very comfortable to be in for a long time.

Also this boot allows for adjustable straps so if you have thin lower legs like mine, then you can punch a new hole in the top buckles and it fits like a charm.

Good all-mountain boot... Off-piste early and when it's deep. Good at speed and soft enough in the park. Lange has always fit me (this is my sixth pair) and I'm not disappointed.

Comments about Lange Inferno Ski Boots:

Awesome boot for [$] As soon as I received I placed my footbeds in liner and clamped em on I knew I had a hotpot on inside ankle area but I have been skiing for over 30 years and always had that problem. I'm not one to put down a boot because it's tight here or it bothers me there kind of guy. I know going in that I'm going to need work done. If you buy a correct fitting boot you're going to need work done to make it fit. So for another $30 for a couple of punchouts I think I found a great boot. Fit is like a snug bug in a rug. Response is very precise, flex seems to be a little softer than 115 but that might be the gel tongues. Skied for 6 hours yesterday and for being in these for the 1st time and feet aren't sore and no shin bang pain. Very snug around lower leg and I've always had problems finding boots that fit good around that area. A fairly light boot. If you have narrow feet and skinny shins this might be the boot for you. Get a better footbed , and a little boot work for hotspots for another $100 and I don't think you can get a better boot for the money. And if your worried about the hard flex they can be soften by a good bootfitter. I didn't check off comfortable because their not broken in yet, but they're the most comfortable new boot I think I've ever owned.

Comments about Lange Inferno Ski Boots:

I bought these to replace my 30 (yes, 30!) year old Lange Softs. Any boot that can last 30 seasons deserves a revisit. Didn't even consider anything else.I haven't skied with them yet, but I can confirm that they are on the narrow side. No problem with narrow-to-normal feet, but if you have wide feet, look elsewhere. At skis.com's price of [$], they are, by far, the BEST deal on the web. Period.

I bought this boot last season and it stood up to 40+ plus days of hard riding. They are still in great shape and I look forward to using them for another full season this year. Super comfortable, the gel insert really helps out your shin. great control and movement transfer in the park, downhill, and in backcountry pow. They are also great for warmth without getting too hot. with 15+ pow days thanks to an amazing snow dump last year these boots were in deep fresh snow alot and my feet never got cold or wet. great boot!
