 Overview

The K2 iKonic 80 makes a great ski for the strong intermediate to advanced skier looking for smooth and easy turns on the frontside of the mountain. Hybritech Sidewall Construction has a slight cap construction in the tip and tail that increase the easiness to ski, and a vertical sidewall underfoot for solid grip on the firm snow. A Fir-Aspen wood core has a lightweight feeling with a snappy feeling for short to medium radius turns. The iKonic 80 is made with K2's Konic Technology that uses a stronger, heavier construction over the edges of the ski, and a lighter construction in the center of the ski for a lower swingweight and increased maneuverability. Hybritech Sidewalls have a slight cap construction in the tips and tails that increase the forgiveness, but a vertical sidewall underfoot drives a tough edge into firm snow conditions. All-Terrain Rocker has camber underfoot for extra grip and rebound, with rocker in the tip for fast and easy turn initiation.

I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the K2 Ikonic 80. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars, its a great ski for that solid intermediate. K2's Konic Technology really pulls the mass away from the center of the ski and towards the edges, which makes it really, really easy to maneuver. I found it nice and smooth for shorter, quicker turns but it wasn't the most stable at higher speeds for longer faster turns, but this ski is not really for that. If you're looking for something very, simple, easy to ski that doesn't take a lot of work to get it to react when and how it should; this is a great ski for ya. 4 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Steve, I just got off the K2 Ikonic 80's. I give these skis 5 out of 5 stars. I really like them for short, quick turns they are very responsive. At a lighter weight skier, they are a really comfortable and responsive and stable for me; even at higher speeds they felt pretty comfortable. Again, I really liked them. Short turns, fast turns i give them 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Thom, and I just got off of the K2 Ikonic 80, This is a 4 out of 5 star ski for me. Where this ski is really going to excel is that kind of advancing beginner to entry level intermediate skier that's really looking to improve their skiing. It's definitely a great confidence builder and it's most at home on kinda the slow to medium speeds at higher speeds it does get a little wobbly; but for an intermediate that wants to go out there and really kind of experience more of the hill and push their ability to hit those kind of advanced levels, it's going to be a ski that provides a lot of confidence, and helps get ya there. 4 out of 5 stars.
