I wish there were 2 buckles to make ankles more sturdy
BEST USES :
I bought mine for distance skating in mind.
Wish they came in boa lacing!
These arrived today but unfortunately I can't wear them outside yet because I think I ordered a half size too big; my shoe sizes range from 6-7.5 depending on the brand and style. I'd say, these run slightly larger than true to size given that they fit more like my athletic shoes that I wear in size 7's. Both my snowboard boots and my ski boots are size 6.5, so I thought this would be a wise size selection for my inline skates but not the case here. Okay, here's what you need to know: given that it's a soft boot, there's more give and flexibility, which is another reason to go with your smallest shoe size, not your average shoe size. The lacing system is a tad frustrating, and it probably has more to do with the sizing issue, but I also didn't feel that the buckle at the top was made very well to adjust easily. This is my first soft boot inline skate, so I'm sure it'll take some getting used to anyway. Anyway, I'm not sending these back yet because I've decided to order a half size smaller to compare the fit. My only dilemma now is having the same initial hesitation between ordering this same style (which is way better looking to me) or go for the boa laced version in that hideous aqua marine color...seriously, I would wear a hot pink skate, or ANY other color for that matter, over a pastel hue...especially for athletic purposes.
