K2 BackDrop Skis 2013

The New K2 BackDrop is designed for the skier who wants a fatter ski that can slay it in the pow, but not be a pain to drag around in the backcountry. At 112mm underfoot, a powder tip, and more rocker in the tip the BackDrop can float and smear in all the deep and light snow. The Aspen/Paulownia/Maple wood core has the K2 Carbon Web, which gives the BackDrop a lightweight, poppy feel to it, that has the torsional rigidity to smear turns in the ultra deep. Equipped with Tip and Tail Hardware it takes only seconds to throw your skins on at the trailhead and seconds to take them off at the summit. The first one up it the first one down. The Sno Phobic Top Sheet is snow repellent, so as you skin your ski remains lighter for easier touring.
