The New A.M.P. Charger has been redesigned this season with Rox Technology. The Charger is a perfect ski for fast advanced to expert skiers who like a short to medium radius turns on the groomers. The new Rox Technology has the Mod Suspension system that is a layer that sits on top of the primary core that acts independently so it does not affect the overall flex of the ski. That means that you can get a ski to flex easily and natural without being overly stiff and demanding. The Charger also has the Carbon Web that is a raised X-shaped pattern further away from the core, which gives the ski stronger torsional strength, for better edge grip, without changing the longitudinal flex of the ski. Speed rocker is also added to the new Charger that gives the ski a quicker, more precise turn, and a smoother ride when the groomers can get a little firm, or bumpy. Speed Rocker is added to the tip of the ski, for quick turn initiation, camber remains underfoot, for strength and power on the firm snow. If you are an advanced to expert skier who likes spending their time seeing how fast you can blast down groomers the newly designed K2 Charger would be great for you.

I love speed but I'm kinda big 230 lb., so it took a while to find a ski that would allow me to move but also to turn,( I race with my club sometimes). I was blown away by these K2 Chargers . They want to go but they respond when you need them to. Awesome ski all around.
I don't do moguls or tricks so I can't comment on their ability there.
Hi this is Trey with K2's AMP Charger with Rocks technology. I'm going to give it 4 out of 5 stars, it's a great front side carving ski for how much energy is in this ski, it's fairly forgiving. I'm not the strongest skier but I do like to ski fast and I didn't feel like I was getting bucked around got the skis there every time I wanted it to be there so for shorter to medium radius turns, just kind of ripping around on the groomers this is a very very good ski, 4 out of 5.
Hi, Tom here with the K2 Charger, give this thing 3 12 out of 5 stars. It's a real smooth ski, very forgiving, easy to turn, tended to to prefer shorter radius turns for me. I'm a bigger guy so it's a little easier for me to push through a ski. So if your a lighter weight skier, or a little bit more casual skier, it's gonna enter the turn easy. It's really precise with how narrow it is underfoot. It's easy to get edge to edge you don't have to fight it, but when you get to the higher speeds it gets a little twitchy. A lightweight intermediate to advanced skier that prefers groomed conditions this would be a great ski for.
Hi, I'm Kevin, I just got off the brand new K2 Amp, Rocks, Charger. This thing rocks, it charges hard, I give it 4 12 out of 5 stars. All new concept from K2, very forgiving frontside oriented ski, thats very easy to load up. You can get a lot of energy out of this ski. It doesn't really seem to matter what size you are, I'm a little bit lighter, ski with a bigger guy, over 250. Both of us really enjoyed it, found it very easy to get on edge. Both got a lot of energy, and rebound out of the ski. Very stable, great edge grip, I could really lay them out. So phenomenal new ski here in the Charger, from K2 this year, 4 12 out of 5 stars.
Hi I'm Steve, I just got off the all new K2 Charger. I give this ski a 55 stars. The Chargers been in the K2 line for a long time. It now has a little brother, and a big brother, this is kinda the middle ski in the line. With the new Rocks technology I really like it. The old charger I thought was kinda slow turning, not real quick edge to edge. This ski was really poppy, a lot of fun, very fast at high speed, it was very stable, really wanted to carve turns. It could do big long turns, quick little short turns, just about anything you want. It's narrow waist so I would only recommend it for east coast, Midwest, or people that like to stay on groomed runs. If your an advanced skier who likes to do hard pack, icy conditions, and groomed runs. You want a fast, snappy, really fun ski, this would be a great ski for you. Again I give it 55 stars, I really liked it.
Hey, its Hunter here, with the Amp Charger, give this ski 45 stars. Its part of K2's front of the mountain, hard snow, ripping fleet. I skied this back to back with this years offering, the Bolt, and I prefer the Bolt. It was a little quieter, and damper, more solid through the turn. That being said, if you want better grip, and variable conditions, and more life out of your ski, this is definitely your choice. A fine option for someone who wants to ski all day, without being punished, thats hard snow oriented.
I'm Hans, I just got of the K2 Charger. The K2 Charger is more of a carving ski. It's a sidewall ski hold really well at high speed. It's definitely designed for the expert skier. Frontside ski not good in powder obviously but the rockered ski initiates turns incredibly easy. I give it a 4 out 5.
Hi, I'm Charlie, I just got off the K2 Charger, I'm gonna give this ski 3 12 out of 5 stars. It rolled on its edge really easily, I just felt that it was lacking a little bit of pop that it needed, a little bit more power coming out of it. It was super easy to transition from turn to turn. For a ski that's built as an advanced ski, I just think that it needs a little bit more power. If your somebody thats an intermediate skier, thats looking to tare up the frontside, then this would be a pretty decent ski for you. If your looking for something thats a little bit stiffer, and give you a little bit more power coming from turn to turn, I'd probably steer away from this.
Hey, its Fidel, I just got done testing K2's brand new for this year, Charger Rocks, in a 179. This is a true frontside carver, very quick edge to edge, not as forgiving as some other skis. You really gotta stay on top of it, but man even at my size, held its edge really well. No problems going as fast as I wanted to go, just overall great ski, I give it a 55 stars.
Hey I'm Brad, I just got off the new K2 Charger, I give this ski 45 stars, I liked it. It's new out this year, it definitely grips and rips real fast, short turns it loves. Definitely doesn't do so well on the longer ones, but it does like high speeds. For a lightweight guy like me I found them real snappy. Be prepared I almost shot right out of them the first time I rode them because of how quick they came around. Definitely not for your beginner to intermediate skier. Your definitely gonna wanna little bit of oomph under it to l let them run, but if you like to ski fast, and you like shorter turns this be a great ski for you.
