The New K2 A.M.P. Bolt is a high powered carving ski for expert skiers who like medium to long radius turns down the groomers at fast and ultra fast speeds. The new Rox Technology has the Mod Suspension system that is a layer that sits on top of the primary core that acts independently so it does not affect the overall flex of the ski. That means that you can get a ski to flex easily and natural without being overly stiff and demanding. The Bolt also has the Carbon Web that is a raised X-shaped pattern further away from the core, which gives the ski stronger torsional strength, for better edge grip, without changing the longitudinal flex of the ski. A Fir Wood core has a layer of metal laminates that provide the ski with a very damp powerful feel to it. K2 has added some speed rocker (rocker in the tip with camber underfoot) to make a ski that has this much torsional stiffness possible to initiate a turn. The K2/Marker MX Binding System has integrated hubs that give the ski a deep and even flex to it. If you like high powered skis that have no speed limit on the groomers, and prefer a medium to long radius turn the new K2 Bolt will zap you.

Whats going on, Jeff here, new K2 Bolt, surprisingly a great time. I gave this a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. I was able to ski it today, in the little bit longer 186. Which I think is a little more of a fun ski, it settles it down a lot. If your gonna go out there, an your a former racer, still really forward aggressive tips skier, this is gonna be a fun ski for you. The little bit of rocker in the tips gonna give it a nice subtle turn. Once you load it, you can still get a good amount of pop out of it, once again, 4/5 stars.

Hey, its Fidel, I just got done testing K2's Amp Bolt, with Rocks technology. Brand new for this year, frontside carver all the way, really enjoyed this ski. You really do have to stay on top of it, its not as forgiving as some other skis out there, but man does it hold its edge, and is it stable. Take it as fast as you wanna go, even a guy my size, I felt very comfortable putting it over. Did not feel at anytime time that it was gonna wash out on me, 5/5 stars, I loved it.

Hey I'm Brad, I just got off riding the Bolt, K2. I give this ski 5/5 stars. Not only does it match my jacket super well, but it skis really awesome. Likes going side to side really quick, definitely a short radius ski. Something more east coast frontside, but if like to grip, and like to rip this ski is awesome. Definitely not for your beginner to intermediate. Takes a lot of speed, a lot of oomph to get it to come around, but it is super snappy super quick. So if you want something that's really fun, fast side to side this would be a great ski for you.

Hi this is Trey I just got off of K2's Amp Blot RX. I'm giving this ski 4.5 out of 5 stars. If you are a powerful skier who likes to rip medium to big radius turns on groomers all day. This is the ski. Just like you're on the proverbial railroad tracks. You just stand on it and it goes there is a lot of energy so you've got to hang on if you're a strong skier. So i'd say for sure advanced to expert you're gonna love this ski.

Hi this is Tom, I'm here with the all new K2 Bolt. I really like this ski it gets a 4/5. It's really easy on edge, super fast edge to edge, really stable. What made me the most happy about this ski is when you go to stand on it, it's there to support you. It lacks a little pop to finish the turn, but it's smooth, grippy, likes speed. Can be skied by anybody from a solid strong intermediate up through a really advanced skier. The major reason I take a point off this ski is for the lack of versatility, this is your frontside carving ski. So if your an east coast skier, midwest skier, your skiing a lot groomed conditions and you just are hauling with this is a great ski.

Hi I'm Steve, I just got off the new K2 Bolt. This is the big daddy of the new carving series from K2. It's got the Rocks technology which keeps the ski super stiff on the front, torsionally stiff, and very stable. I give this 4/5 stars, this is my second favorite in the series. A little to stiff for me, I'm in the 160 pound range, and I'm in my 50's. So I don't have quite enough power or energy to make this ski really do what it wants. If you like skiing hard pack and east coast Midwest icy conditions at a really fast speed, or your a big guy. I think you'd really love this ski.

Hey, its Hunter here, just got off the Amp Bolt, from K2. This is a 5 star ski. I'd recommend it for anyone who really wants to ski their race ski all the time, but things like variable conditions get in the way. This will blast through them, a very damp solid race like feel. Push it as hard as you want, go as fast as you want, its kinda a race ski for the whole frontside of the mountain. I was extremely impressed with it, nothing bad to say.

Hi, I'm Charlie, I just got off the K2 Bolt, I'm gonna give this 5/5 stars. This is a new ski for K2 this year in the US market. I really love this ski, you can put all your weight into it, and put all the power you want into it, and it just keeps giving. It wont let go of the edge, its something that will just rip the frontside groomers all day long. Will let you do a big sweeping turns, holds really well on the hard pack conditions today. It just powered through all the crud that we got going on. So this is a great segment thats introduced into the US market this year, and I loved it 5 stars.
