 Overview

The Hotronic Footwarmer S3 Custom set has everything you need to keep your toes warm and toasty on cold days. The new design of the system has included two Battery Packs, one Charger, two Heating Elements and a set of one size fits all Cambrelle Covers and Strips. The Cambrelle Cover works with any type of insole, custom, stock, or pre molded. The S3 has three batteries in each rechargeable pack, which is very compact, but powerful. The Hotronic S3 Series Battery Pack uses three base settings for heat, and the highest setting is on a timer to prevent draining the battery or overheating your feet. The S3 utilizes a NiMH AA battery that has a high capacity cold temperature operation. These NiMH battery cells do not have a memory effect that has plagued boot heating systems for years, and does not need to be fully drained before being recharged. The Heating Elements and Cammy Covers can easily be installed onto any type of footbed whether it is custom, pre-molded, or stock.

Comments:
Best invention ever! Easy to install and you don't even know they are attached to the boot. My feet never got cold once. Never felt too hot. Make sure to give your batteries a full charge before the first use.

Q: I have custom made orthotics inside my Fischer Vacuum Race Boots. Do I put the heater element under the orthotic, or do I lay the new insole on top of the orthhotic and sandwich what I have already?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: You will need to make a small slice in your orthotic just below the ball of your foot. A serrated steak knife is the easiest to use, or a cut wheel on a dremmel tool will give you the cleanest cut. A slit just large enough just to run the black end of the heating element though is the perfect size. The slit will allow you to run the black end through the orthotic, then use the adhesive on the heating element to stick it to your orthotic. Use the thin red adhesive strip to prevent the wire from bunching up under your orthotic. A proper cut through the orthotic will not affect the performance or fit of the footbed.
