 Overview

The Head Strong Instinct Ti makes a great ski for the intermediate to advanced skier looking for a quick and nimble carving ski. Head's ERA 3.0 designs the rocker, turning radius, and rebound for the specific skill set to which that ski is designed for to deliver optimum control and performance. Graphene is a material that has been developed by Head to be very lightweight, but very strong. Graphene adds extra torsional strength to the Strong Instinct for extra responsiveness, while keeping a smooth longitudinal flex that gives you a light on your feet feeling in a ski that is capable of handling higher speeds. Allride Rocker engages you into turns quickly and efficiently. Head's Power Sidewall Ti Jacket has a synthetic injected core, Titanal, and Graphene that when combined together is loaded with energy and spring that is very enjoyable to ride for a wide range of skiers.

Head strong instinct skis
Comments:
Just skied these this weekend. Unbelievable performance in soft powder and chop. Heavy enough to force the turn if needed but float when in the deep stuff. Would highly recommend to the strong intermediate to advanced skier looking for true all mountain and conditions with one ski.

Hi I'm Thom I just got off of the Head Strong Instinct Ti. This is a 5 out of 5 star ski for me. It's really going to be aimed at your progressing beginner through your solid level intermediate skier that just wants to get better; and that's exactly what this ski is going to do. Tons of edge hold, tons of stability really calm and stable, and it just inspires confidence. As a skier that's really looking to improve their abilities it's really going to help you get there. It's very easy on to edge, and it's just a smooth all around ski that is going to make you real comfortable on the hill. Definitely aimed at a front side skier, somebody who is going to be on a lot of groomed snow. But for that progressvie skier, a fantastic option 5 out of 5.

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Head Strong Instinct TI. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. It's a fantastic ski for that beginner all the way up through that strong intermediate ski you're looking for some value. It's extremely easy to ski on the front side, its very nice and stable, holds a good edge in any snow condition; and thanks to Head's graphing technology its extremely light on your feet but very, very strong and stable. 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Steve and I just got off the Head Strong Instinct skis. These skis I give a 5 out of 5 stars. They are a great ski for an intermediate skier or even an advanced intermediate, somebody that really likes staying on the front side of the mountain and carving up the groomers; does really well in the softer snow. It's very stable at higher speeds you can really push it to its edge. I give these skis 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Steve I just got off the Head Strong Instinct Ti. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's a nice advanced intermediate to intermediate ski. Very easy transition edge to edge, easy turn shapes, nice and stable between the turns. Like I said 4 out of 5 stars and it matches my outfit perfectly, so give you extra points for that.

Q: I am a 6'2" 185lb athletic beginner. Just starting to go parallel. I have Technica Mach1 MV 100s that are great. I am looking to get my first pair of skis that will stay with me as i progress but not be too much for me right now. I have demoed the Natural Instinct 170s and liked them. Wondering if these would be too much ski for me and i should just stick with the Natural Instincts. Thanks for any thoughts!

A:This in fact would be a perfect option for you due to your quickly improving ability. I would encourage you to jump up to the 177cm based on your weight and athletic ability.

Q: Hi. I am 181cm and 93kg. My current level is parallel turns but mostly skidded, not really carving properly yet. Would buy them to improve my carving technique as well as for the occasional backcountry offpiste. Would these be appropriate? What size would fit me best? Thank you,

A:The Strong Instinct in a 177cm will be a great ski for you except for when you are trying to venture off piste. The waist width, rocker profile and flex pattern are geared mostly towards on piste skiing. You may find it a little difficult to ski in fresh powder in the backcountry.
