 Overview

The new Head Monster 88 is a high powered ski that possesses a lot of energy for the advanced to expert skier that loves to charge on the frontside of the mountain. The 88mm waist can blow apart crud, and at the same time feel extremely agile when you feel like carving medium to long radius turns. Head has developed Graphene as a material that is incredibly strong even though it is only one molecule thick. Head's Allride Rocker has rocker in the tip for vibration absorption, and quick turn initiation with camber underfoot to give the ski rebound and edge hold. The Monster 88 is made with Head's WC Sandwich Cap Construction that has vertical sidewalls with a vertically laminated wood core and a layer of titanal for powerful edge hold and a high torsional strength that gives you precision and control with each turn. The ERA 3.0 Technology that combines rocker, turning radius, and rebound into one finely oiled machine for skiers that want the ultimate in performance.

2016 Head Monster 88 Ti Ski Review
Comments:
Hey, this is Josh. Just got off the Monster 88 by Head. This is a 3.5 out of 5 star ski for me. It's kind of a nice mid-waist all-mountain. If you're kind of more frontside oriented skier but want a little bit of tip rocker and a little bit of soft snow fun, this would be a good ski for you. It's kind of built for that intermediate to advanced skier who has some pretty good skills and looking to kind of express those and maybe move up into a higher skiing category. It's pretty stable in those medium to long radius turns. I think it was a little snappy in the short turns but still a pretty solid ski. Again, 3 out of 5 stars.

Hey, this is Lucas. I just got off the Monster 88 by Head Skis. This ski was all right for me. I'm going to give it 4 out of 5 stars. Good at short turn radiuses but as you went a little longer I didn't feel like I had as much control. It might just not be the ski for me but I would suggest it for advanced to nearly expert skier who really likes carving the frontside of the mountain. 4 out of 5 stars.

2016 Head Monster 88 Ti Ski Review
Comments:
Hey, I'm Mike. I just got done skiing the Head Monster 88. 5 out of 5 for this ski. A lot of fun. It has metal in it which I tend to like. I'm a bigger guy. It helps keep the ski a little more stable. Got a little bit of tip rocker so it doesn't get hung up but absolutely a go-anywhere type of ski. From groomers to choppy snow, even a little bit of powder, this ski would be a phenomenal choice. I would say it's going to be for the intermediate all the way up through the expert level skier. It's going to be a great one-ski quiver. Pretty much will do anything you want it to do. Had a lot of fun making really big, hard, fast turns on this so if you're the kind of guy that likes to ski all over the mountain the Head Monster 88 would be your choice.

2016 Head Monster 88 Ti Ski Review by Sam
Comments:
Hi, my name is Sam Smith and I just got done riding the Head Monster 88. Overall I give this ski a 4 out of 5. It's got a nice 17m radius on it. This ski is going to be more designed for groomed type riding where with this type of turn it's going to be one of those types of skis that also wants to let loose similar to the Monster 98 which will be able to get a little bit of a short turn and width it. Overall I thought it was a great ski. I think this ski would be more geared towards a expert level skier and, like I said, I think it's going to be great for a groomed trail.

2016 Head Monster 88 Ti Ski Review
Comments:
Hi, I'm Thom. I just got off of the Head Monster 88. This is a 4 out of 5 star ski for me. This ski is super, super smooth. It's a really mellow ski but it stands up to speed real well and it's still really stable. So if you're a strong intermediate up through your expert level skier who wants a frontside ski that's going to be real carvy but a little bit wider, more stable platform, this is a really good choice. 4 out of 5.

Comments:
I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the new Head Monster 88. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. I found it very smooth, easy to control. It's actually extremely light but very, very stable for how it skis. It's a great ski for that strong intermediate to expert level skier for somebody who's looking for something that's just smooth, easy turning and spend most of your on trail with. 5 out of 5.

2016 Head Monster 88 Ti Ski Review
Comments:
Hi, this is Hans. I just came off the Head Monster 88. All-mountain ski for the advanced to expert skier. On short turns it holds pretty well. Long turns it's definitely a little bit on the sloppy side. More probably for the non-aggressive skier that wants an expert ski. I give this a 3 out of 5.

2016 Head Monster 88 Ti Ski Review
Comments:
Hey, this is Hunter. I just got off the Head Monster 88. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's for your advanced all-mountain skier with a little more of a frontside hard-snow favorite. What I liked the most about this ski is it has great edge grip but it's very quiet. It's for somebody who doesn't want to get beat up but wants to be able to lay turns out all day. There's other choices if you want more rebound out of a ski but if you like a quiet, smooth carve, great ski for you - 4 out of 5 stars.

Hi, I'm Jeff. I just got off the Head Monster 88. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's for your advanced to expert skier who is looking for something that's going to hold really well on edge with this full sidewall. It had that stiffness and metal in the ski so you can really charge form turn-to-turn. It also is really poppy from edge-to-edge because of the camber in this ski. So, you really feel that energy from turn-to-turn. This is the Head Monster 88 and I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
