Active Strap Technology allows the strap to automatically lifts up when you open the reclining highback and actively tightens when you close the highback. Combined with the LSR or Locking Slap Ratchets allows riders to enter the Flow Fuse easily without any hassle. The Flow Fuse is going to knock your socks off with its ability to maximize the time spent on the hill.
I got the Flow Fuse based on some reviews, and overall, I'm not really wowed by them.
The first day I used them, the rear foot toe ratchet popped out of the strap, making it a pain to buckle in, and the strap curls under the buckle, which puts a ton of pressure on the pinkie toe. The step in/step out feature is a wash because my boot is too wide to slide into the baseplate (Burton Ruler - size 9.5) so I'm struggling on each run to get the back binding dialed in.
They're stiff, snug, and responsive when all set, which is their saving grace. Because I bought them for the comfort and ease of entry, which is non-existent for me.
Maybe if I get new boots next year I'll like them better... time will tell.
