The Watea 84 is a perfect fifty-fifty resort ski for athletic intermediate to strong advanced skiers. At 84mm underfoot the Watea 84 is an ideal width for a blend of edge to edge quickness and the ability to float over and drive through crud and soft snow conditions. Keeping things simple with a good mid radius side cut and medium flex full wood core the Watea 84 has the ability to drive open giant slalom style carves with the nimble and poppy nature needed to hit tight and precise fall line turns as well. Around the core a sandwich sidewall construction take this great shape and gives tremendous edge hold for the strong and powerful feel needed to handle speed and choppy snow. To keep everything calm Carbon I-beams are embedded into the core of the ski to increase the stability and dampness to the Watea 84 for a clean a crisp feel no matter how steep of choppy the conditions get. To dial in the all mountain performance the Watea 84 uses Freeski Rocker, tip and tail rocker with camber, to give the ski the easy and smooth turn initiation all over the mountain, the extra float to stay above crud and crust, and the clean release from the turn that allows for perfect carves as well as smearing and sliding in soft snow. Simply put the Watea 84 is a ski that can manage any turn shape in almost any condition with a strong and poppy feel for the all mountain skier who likes to experience everything from groomers to the back bowls.

I'm Kevin, I just got off the Fischer Watea 84. I this was a pretty good overall ski for advanced intermediate to advanced level skiers that like a really predictable smooth skiing ski. It's got very good edge grip, It's a little more pop than the 88 but definitely not the lively ski out there so overall I would give it 3 1/2 out of five stars. If you just want something that's smooth predictable easy skiing good all Mountain ski. Where you're spending most of your time on the hardpacked little bit of time in the choppies softer snow this would be a good ski for you.
Hi, this is Luke. I just finished skiing the Fischer Watea 84. Once again very happy with this ski, very enjoyable, very stable ski. 84 underfoot just comfortable to ski you can really take this thing anywhere. Great edge, doesn't work you too hard, full sidewall construction to it so lots of energy. Just a real enjoyable ski check it out the Watea 84 from Fischer.
Hey, I'm Sean and I just got done skiing the Fischer Watea 84 ski. I give it a 4/5 stars. It is geared toward that advanced intermediate skier to advanced skier that wants to go out and hit all mountain groomer runs. Ungroomed runs it was really fun ski to go and let it all out full speed down the mountain. It initiated turns easily, carved great. I had a lot of fun on it was a little on the softer side. It didn't have to challenge me too much, without that it was a fun ski. Again I give it a 4/5 stars and is going to be a good ski for that guy that's going on all mountain runs and it was the intermediate advanced skier to advance skier.
Hi, I'm Steve. I just got the Fischer Watea 84. I give this ski 4/5 stars I really liked it if you're the kind of guy who has been skiing on a system ski and you are ready to go to a flat ski so you can get a little lighter weight. Not so much metal in the binding and stuff and you want something a little wider. This 84 Watea would be a perfect move. It's got a little bit of rocker in the tip so it helps get that tip up on floatation, if you get any powder, makes it easier to initiate the turn very stable, very easy to turn, very smooth from edge to edge. Didn't take a lot of effort to turn it so if your kind of the person who wants to ski, it makes it really easy to ski and you're from an intermediate to advanced level skier, who wants something with a little more width on it, I would strongly recommend this ski.
Hey, this is Thom. I am here with the Fischer Watea 84. I give this thing 4/5 stars. Real stable, super fast edge to edge, definitely more of that front sided adventure ski so great for that solid intermediate through advanced skier, that's spending more time on groomers. But does venture in to maybe the back bowls powder, tree's a little here and there. Stability and predictability on the front side.
Trey here, with the Fischer Watea 84. I'm giving this ski 4/5 stars. I think this a fantastic ski for a beginner that is going to get serious about skiing and doesn't want to spend over a lot of money and wants to own a ski for awhile. You can totally progress on this ski even and advanced skier is not going to out ski. It's very very stable, light weight, fun easy to ski and a ton performance.
This is Hans, with the Fischer Watea 84. Very surprised at how this ski holds on ice and 84 under foot. It's a full sidewall construction, you have a little bit of twin tip tail so this is a ski you can take absolutely take anywhere you want to go. If you are intermediate to a very advanced skier this ski is going to take you anywhere you can take it east coast to west coast you can go and soft snow. It's good on the hardpack, I give this ski 5 out of 5.
Hi I'm Jeff. Here with the Fischer Watea 84. This thing is phenomenal this is a great fun little ski if you are like a lets stay Midwest or like an east coast guy who wants a little bit wider under foot ski that you can have fun in loose snow. Hardpack icier conditions this is absolutely 110% for you at a 176 today this thing was a blast to ride we've got a little bit of a loose stuff with some groomers underneath and this thing just rips. Lay it on edge and have fun, I give this a solid five out of five stars.
