The Motive 74 is built to be a reliable ski in any conditions a beginner to intermediate skier will encounter on trail. Based around a 74mm waist the Motive 74 has smooth edge to edge response with just enough width to add the predictability and stability you need to be confident when the snow conditions break down or the light becomes flat and you need to trust your skis. With a traditional sidewall construction the Motive 74 offers up solid edge grip with a clean a controlled feel on edge. To improve on the control from the sidewall construction the Motive 74 also uses some modern technology like Dynamic Grip Control, three internal reinforcements in the tip and tail for instant turn initiation and better grip, as well as Carbon Tech, a carbon fiber weave that stiffens the ski edge to edge increasing response and grip. As these technologies only impact the edge hold the Motive 74 remains very relaxed tip to tail keeping it smooth and easy to ski. The Motive 74 also uses modern rocker shaping with All Mountain Rocker, slight tip rise with full camber, to make for easy and effortless turn initiation and a more predictable and stable feel when the snow pack gets choppy and bumped up towards the end of the day. Easy going and very predictable the Motive 74 is a great ski to build confidence and improve your performance all over the mountain.

Hey, I'm Sean. I just got done skiing the Fischer Motive 74 ski. I gave it a 4.5/5 star rating. It's really a lot of fun on this ski. It's going to be geared towards that beginner, however it does have a sidewall construction. It does make it a little bit stiffer but all out it was fun. Even on a little bit of light power on groomed runs it handled great. When I took it on a groomed, really fast steep run it handled great. I had a lot of fun on it that's why I gave it a 4.5/5 stars. It's going to be geared towards that beginner to intermediate skier.

Hello, this is Jesse. Just got done skiing the Fischer Motive 74. It's an alright ski, It's not that great at carving, really it would be great for just blue runs. Stuff like that it gets really chattery when you take it up to speed. Overall I'd give it about a 3/5 stars, it would be a lot of fun for a beginner. But once you get up beyond that it just get a little bit too chattery and not that exciting.

Hi, this is Jeff here with the Fischer Motive 74. This is gonna be a really fun ski if you are on some more groomer conditions. You want to do some tight fast turns, you are more of an entry level to intermediate skier this is going to be solid Impact on an intermediate. It's a really fun ski that is pretty quick side to side so if you are an advanced ski you are on this ski you are using it more as a daily terrain maybe your weekend ski. It's still going to still have torsional stability and great edge hold. I give this a solid 3/5 stars.

This is Hans. With the Fischer Motive 74. The Motive 74 is definitely designed for your inspiring intermediate skier. It's got a vertical sidewall so if you keep it on the edge it will hold really well. It's more designed for short to medium radius turns. If you're an expert skier this ski is not designed for you but for that inspiring intermediate. I give it a 4/5.

Hi, I'm Doug. I just got off the Fischer Motive 74. A really fun happy turning ski, it was just more happy on edge than anything I've ever skied on before. That said it wasn't really quite as comfortable with them pointed downhill and tried to let them run. But edge to edge on long and short turns it just wanted to go across the mountain back and forth all day long. Once again, I gave this one a 5 out of 5
