The new Elan Ripstick 106 is a groundbreaking ski for the advanced to expert skier who wants an extremely lightweight ski to charge any type of terrain. TNT Technology is an amazing weight reduction construction that brings together the TubeLite Woodcore, Vapor Tip, and advanced composites that feel very strong and stable. The TubeLite Woodcore uses wood with hollowed out channels of 5mm diameter carbon that run through the arc of the sidecut for a stable feeling at ultra-high speeds, which are very responsive. The Vapor Tip uses inserts of Advanced Composites in the tip and tail of the Ripstick that absorb vibrations and increase maneuverability. Elan's SST Sidewalls will transmit your energy directly to the edges of the ski for uncompromised edge hold and the feeling that you will be carving on railroad tracks. If you want a ski that will feel very stable, highly versatile, and incredibly light on your feet, rip it, with the Elan Ripstick 106!

Agile high performance
Comments:
This ski is one of the easiest stable responsive skis I've ever skied. Light, quick turning and floats better than the best! The ski is good on the groomers but really accels in powder whether its challenging black diamonds, cruising open runs or in tight tree runs, the skis are extremely nimble. They will elevate your abilities while having a blast.. All the pro shops pros comment they want a pair! Great looking and outstsnding performance!!

Best "fatter" ski have ever skied. Amazingly quick edge to edge for being 106 underfoot. Those who appreciate a flatter tail and a racing GS ski feel will love it; just easier to turn. Responds well to being laid on edge hard when have to on firmer snow but can just go on auto pilot laying down easy arcs when soft. AMAZING period and was actually skiing it on marginal early season VT conditions. Can only imagine the joy of getting this ski on good snow in the trees

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Elan Ripstick 106. This thing rips, it's a 5 star ski all day long. It's really, even though its 106 underfoot, it could really ski any condition very, very well. It adapts well to easy turns, any turn shape it's very easy to ski; it likes to go fast, it likes to go slow. Anything you can throw at it this ski's got it for you. 5 out of 5.

Hi I'm Thom, I just got off of the Elan Ripstick 106. This is a 5 out of 5 star ski for me. It's really, really cool new ski for this season. Definitely aimed at your advanced to expert-level skier with this waist width, but because it's a really light weight and nimble ski it actually works really well for an intermediate level skier also. If you're looking to have that ski that's really going to allow you to explore the entire hill. At this waist definitely not your on-trail ski but it does carve well; but its fantastic in bumps and crud and soft snow. Super nimble, incredibly easy to turn, low swing weight. Just everything you want in an all-mountain ski, where you're going to be skiing a lot of time off trial. 5 out of 5 stars.
