 Overview

The Explore 10Ti from Elan is a perfect ski for the athletic beginner to solid intermediate skier who is looking for a lightweight and easy forgiving ski to hone their skills with. A Dual Woodcore and a Mono Ti Layer offer you stability once you start to pick up some speed, but is not too demanding or aggressive for you to learn proper technique with. Elan's WaveFlex Technology uses waves across the mid-body of the ski to create a smooth and easy longitudinal flex, with a high torsional strength that adds responsiveness. Parabolic Rocker has rocker in the tip that engages the ski into a turn easily, and works very well at low edge angles to get you comfortable carving the ski. The Explore 10Ti has PST Sidewalls that use a cap construction in the tip and tail for skidding turns, with a vertical sidewall under the mounting platform that give you grip on the snow when conditions get firm.

  • Parabolic Rocker
  • WaveFlex Technology
  • PST Sidewall

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Elan Explore 10. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's really designed for your beginner up to intermediate skier. It's very lightweight, it has partial side wall construction which means that it's cap construction in the tip and tail which makes it very, very forgiving in the tip and tail, but you have a sidewall under foot that gives it a little bit of edge grip when things get firm. It's lightweight, it's very easy to steer 4 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Steve and I was just skiing on the Elan Explore 10 Ti. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. I think this is a great beginner ski it's something that could carry somebody maybe to the beginnings of a intermediate skier. It turns really well, it's a very stable ski. Not going to be the best ski if you're carving really hard turns or picking up a lot of speed, but for the beginner skier it's a very solid choice. 4 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Thom. I just got off the Elan Explore 10. I give this guy 3.5 out of 5 stars. It's really geared at your never, ever skier or your person who is just getting out of rentals, maybe skied 2 or 3 times. With a partial sidewall underfoot it's a very stable ski, a very calm ski. It's definitely going to inspire confidence, it's easy to skid and smear and it will allow you to get the ski up on to edge a little bit and start to carve your turns. It will definitely take an entry level skier up to a solid intermediate with relative ease. It's just an easy going ski all around, 3 out of 5 stars.

does everything well-bumps, crud, blazing, big mountain. I am an all mountain expert skier, and love this ski despite it being rated for intermediate.

Room To Grow
Comments:
I am an intermediate skier who is gaining confidence and skill, and I wanted to replace the basic skis I bought four years ago. I was looking for more control, and can say that the Elan Explore 10 Ti's fit the bill. I felt more confident my very first run! They turn easily, and because of that I have better speed control, and greater comfort.
I have so far only skied with them one day, but I am very happy with the purchase. I have the sense that these skis will maximize my ability and give me room to grow.

2016 Elan Explore 10 Ti Ski Review by Kyle T.
Comments:
Hi. Kyle here with the Elan Explore 10. I really liked this ski so I'm going to give it a 5 out of 5. It's got a lot of energy. It's got partial sidewall under your foot so it will keep you really holding that edge nice and firm but the energy of this ski just really surprised me. Just out of the turns it's amazing. I absolutely love it. 5 out of 5. Check it out - the Explore 10.

2016 Elan Explore 10 Ti Ski Review by Jeff S.
Comments:
Hey this is Jeff. I just got off the Elan Explore 10 Ti. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars. This is a phenomenal ski and this would be a best in show for me at this price-point. If you're a recreational skier trying to get better or a good skier who just wants something that's going to be really easy, huge sweet spot. I couldn't believe how well this skied for how much it is. It's a rockered ski in the tip and the tail. It has cap construction but it has a sandwich construction underfoot. It skied great. It skied definitely 1 or even 2 slots above its price-point. It's definitely a ski you should think about. I give it 5 out of 5 stars if you're an intermediate skier and you want a tremendous amount of value, the Elan Explore 10 Ti.

2016 Elan Explore 10 Ti Ski Review by Thom
Comments:
Hi, I'm Thom. I just got off of the Elan Explore 10 Ti. This is a 5 out of 5 star ski. For the price, this thing is fantastic. It's really kind of geared toward your mid-intermediate type skier but I really think a strong athletic beginner all the way up through a solid intermediate could be really happy on a ski like this. It skids and smears at turns so it's real easy to control while you're kind of developing your technique but when you actually tilt the thing up on edge, it carves a really clean turn. Anything kind of medium to short radius so great for that skier who wants to really develop, push their skiing ability and get better quickly. 5 out of 5.
