 Overview

Intermediate to advanced skiers love the Delight QT from Elan. The Early Rise Rocker Profile makes the Delight a dream to roll into turn very easily. Elan's Trulite Wood Core is designed specifically for women to have a lightweight ski that does not require extra weight or force to make the ski react when and how it should that makes the Delight forgiving enough for a mellow intermediate but solid enough for the advanced skier. The 76mm waist is very agile for carving short to medium radius turn on piste. The Delight has Wave Light Technology that increases the torsional flex of the ski that will give you better edge hold and stability, while maintaining a smooth and easy longitudinal flex. If you are an intermediate looking to step up to the next level or an advanced skier looking for value on a ski that carves short to medium radius turns on the groomers you will find the Elan Delight is simply a delight to ski on.

2016 Elan Delight Ski Review by Jessica
Comments:
Hi, my name is Jessica and I just got off the Elan Delight QT. I rate this ski a 4 out of 5. It's great for an intermediate to advanced-intermediate skier. It's super light, hence the name, but it holds a great edge once you get it up to speed. Gets a little shaky at slower speeds so the ski does like to go a little bit faster. Again, 4 out of 5. Great frontside ski.

2016 Elan Delight Ski Review by Julie
Comments:
Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Elan Delight QT. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 star rating. I thought it was really good at medium to long radius turns. It held a stable edge. You're actually able to get it up to a carve turn so if you're an intermdiate to advanced skier that's really looking for a ski that's stable, predictable, very light and easy to ski, this is a really good choice and it's also going to allow you to move on to become a better skier.

2016 Elan Delight Ski Review by Marcia
Comments:
Hi, I'm Marcia. I just got off the Elan Delight. I give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars. It was an excellent ski for an intermediate skier. It's just a little bit longer than I would normally ski - it's a 158. Considering the length, it skied really good. Held edges really nice and tight, it took the long turns really smoothly. I feel this is an excellent ski for intermediate skier. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Q: Does the Delight ski weigh the same as the Black Magic ski by Elan? They both say Lightweight and it looks like same materials but I can't find this info anywhere. Thanks in advance!

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on the skill levels of both skis the Delight would be very slightly heavier, because the skier for the Delight would be skiing a little faster requiring a little extra stability. All of the Elan women skis are lightweight in relation to the skill level for who they are intended for.
