 Overview

The Elan Amphibio 88XTi is one powerful ride for aggressive skiers looking for quick and smooth turns. Elan's 4D Technology uses a concave shape across the topsheet of the tail for easy exits of carves and a convex shape across the topsheet of the mid-body of the ski for very precise entry to turns. 4D Technology also absorbs vibrations to give you one of the quietest rides on snow. Amphibio Rocker has a rockered outside edge of the tip, with a cambered inside edge that gives you lightning quick edge to edge turns, without any sacrifice of rebound. A Dual Shaped XTi layer keeps the 88XTI very stable, no matter how fast you can ski, and will help you blow through crud. Elan's Fusion Binding System creates a perfect synergy between the ski and binding with an even flex, and a high amount of energy transfer as you fly down the groomers at top speed.

Hi I'm Adam, and I was just skiing on the new Elan Amphibio 88 XTi. I give this ski 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's a very strong carving ski for that advanced to expert level skier. With the 4D technology it makes it extremely smooth and vibration free. Elans Amphibio really rolls it on edge very, very quickly. It's super easy to engage, it responds well at short turns, long turns, any speed you want to take it, it just rolls up there and likes to be on edge. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Hey I'm Paulie and I just skied the Elan Amphibio 88 XTi. I give this ski a 3 out of 5 stars. This is an advanced level to low level expert ski. It's great for high speed cruising, it's very stable. It holds a great edge, I think it would be good if you like to go fast all the time and make very few turns. Personally what I didn't like about this ski is you don't get a lot of feedback and it doesn't really shoot you out of a turn, so you've got to kinda be on it all the time. Nice ski 3 out of 5 stars.

Hi I'm Steve, I just got off the Elan Amphibio 88 XTi. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. I love this ski, I've skied it year after year, it keeps getting better. It's probably one of the most stable, solid, confidence building skis I've ever skied. It feels heavy when you lift it up, but on the slope it just is like a tank. It turns real nice edge-to-edge, it's very easy in the transition; but the edge hold is phenomenal. I went as fast as I could on this ski, and i felt really, really confident and rock solid. So, if you're looking for a ski that just helps you really build your confidence but a ski that can handle anything, and hard charging this is a great ski for you.

Hi I'm Thom, I just got off of the Amphibio 88 XTi. This is another 5 out of 5 star ski from Elan for me. This is just one of my perennial favorites. For somebody who is kinda that high-level intermediate up through expert level skier, that wants a turny, energetic, front side carver This ski is a fantastic option. It goes into the turn with a lot of ease and holds through the whole turn, but it has a lot of pop to finish, a lot of excitement to end the turn and propel you into the next one. So if you're just looking for that edgy, carvy, fast ski to really just dominate the front side of the hill, this is a great choice. 5 out of 5 stars.
