AMAZING
Comments:
I've been on the hunt for a new waterproof ski jacket for some time now. At 5'6", 155lbs, 40" chest, 32" waist and 31" sleeve it's been hard to find a jacket that fits. I typically wear a Medium, however most ski jackets in that size have 34" sleeves. Yeah you can get it tailored, but who wants to send a brand new jacket to the only certified Gortex alteration shop in the country (WA), pay another $100+ and wait 4-6 weeks?

After hours of research I landed on the Descente Anton jacket. WHAT A FIND!!! Sleeve length is 31.5" which is perfect. No concern about snow sneaking in between cuffs and gloves with the built in hand gators and velcro cuffs. I'm not sure what the center length is, but it sits just below the butt (compared to others that look like a nightgown). Only 60g of thinsulate means it's not bulky, yet still very warm. Not sure how the Heat Navi technology compares to non Heat Navi jackets, but on a sunny 30 degree day I was comfortable with just a base layer. Only two gripes so far. One is the main zipper is european, meaning it zips opposite of a US style jacket. Once zipped you can't tell, but takes some getting used to. And two, the smartphone holder is iPhone specific. Sure my Galaxy S7 fits fine, but the clear pocket has outlines/shading to match an iPhone which makes it awkward for us Android users. Would be nice if the pocket was just completely clear to make it compatible with any phone.

I've read other reviews saying that sizing runs small, which I suppose it does. But for us shorter dudes, look no further than Descente.
