The Dalbello Mantis 8 is a great boot for the intermediate to advanced skier who is looking for a boot for a narrow to medium forefoot. The Low Contour Profile Cuff is designed for the shorter, fuller leg shape of the female anatomy, to give you a better range of motion, and a more comfortable fit around the shaft of your leg. The womens specific shell is designed around the narrower foot shape that women have. A Center Balanced Stance that aligns the cuff angle, cant angle, and cuff inclination angle to position you in a balanced and centered stance for the best performance for modern ski shapes like large sidecuts, and rocker shapes. The Contour 4 Fit Concept has anatomically correct shapes at the four critical fit points like the ankle, heel, fifth metatarsal, and navicular, for a more comfortable fit that will not impede your biomechanics, to make skiing easier and more efficient for you. The 3D Power Frame is tri-injected material that bonds three different density polymers into one structure to give you a boot that has precise foot wrapping, a direct power transfer, and is easy to enter and exit. If you are looking for a boot that will help you perform better on the slopes and be comfortable all day so you do not have to walk around the ski lodge in your socks the Dalbello Mantis 8 will fit great for you.

  • Q:

Which of your women's boots, for advanced skier, would be best for my high instep and arch? I am a former ski instructor but now only ski a week or so a year. Pressure on top of my foot cuts off circulation if buckled for very long. I unbuckle on lift rides, then water leaks in etc etc. I have orthotics already. Suggestions?!
    Thank you.

      A:

I would recommend taking a look at the Tecnica Espirit 12 and the Nordica Cruise 95 womens boots for higher volume options that will work for an advanced skier with a higher arch and instep.
