Back for another year of awesomeness comes the Capita Defenders of Awesome Snowboard. With 3 Transworld Good Wood Awards under its belt, it's no wonder the Defenders of Awesome is highly sought after. The DOA features a next-generation hybrid camber design. The Hybrid FK shape is a myriad of cambers combined into one to give you pop, response, predictability and easy turn initiation.
The DS Select RFC Sustainable Dual Core combines Poplar wood with Beech wood stringers to create a smooth and consistent ride. 2x30mm Carbon Fiber Beams are known for its rigidity, strength and low weight providing the board with increased power and response. Fortress Kevlar Bound Sidewalls forms an S wrap from the top of the sidewall to the underside of the core, creating a bomb-proof construction. Special Blend Fiberglass Plant Based EVO Resin construction is an eco-friendly process that provides customized performance. The Wax Infused Rotation Enduro Base absorbs wax well and helps give you a durable board that's wicked fast. If you want the best performance all around the mountain, jump on the Capita Defenders of Awesome.
Hi I'm Cody. I just got off the Capita DOA. This is my favorite board that I've rode today. They introduced the new Kevlar sidewalls, it turns excellent on the frontside; also it has a blended camber and rocker profile so you get the best of both worlds. You get a nice buttery smooth turn with the rocker shape and you get great pop off the jumps with the camber. Again, 5 out of 5 stars for the Capita DOA.
Hi, my name's Riley and I just got off the Capita Defenders of Awesome. I give this board 4.5 out 5 stars. Great for ripping carves; super responsive, holds an edge really well. Um, this is a good board if you're just looking to you know, rip all mountain and maybe a little bit of park but it's definitely a good all-mountain ripper. So I definitely give it 4.5 out of 5.
Hi I'm Mike and I just got off the Capita Defenders of Awesome. I give this board a 4.5 out of 5. It's a really nice board to cruise around on. It holds a really, really nice edge and makes a bunch of different turns types. It's definitely for somebody who is a little bit more experienced because it is a little stiffer. It was a very fun ride and it set and edge, and held on to that edge very, very well. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.
Hey guys, Dan here, just got off Capita's Defenders of Awesome. This board is fantastic, I'd give it a 5 out of 5 stars. For the value it's an absolutely fantastic tool, everything that I threw at it, it performed really well. Super snappy, great edge hold. Great take offs and landings. This is an absolute dream for a park rider that's looking to progress.
Hi, I'm Trevor. I just got off the Capita Defenders of Awesome. I'd give this board a 5 out of 5 stars. This is easily my favorite board from Capita. Every year it impresses and every year it gets a good rating out of me. The camber on it is really nice, it really pops ya; take this thing off big jumps. Definitely more for an experienced rider but if you're that guy, this is an awesome board to pick up.
